And the fact that Brooke is ENCOURAGING this disaster instead of staging an intervention is absolutely CRIMINAL! Brooke of all people should know better than to push her daughter into a relationship with a serial waffler!

The recaps literally said “for anyone who didn’t know, Brooke clarified Hope’s feelings for Liam” because apparently the writers think we need CONSTANT reminders that Hope loves this man. We don’t! We remember! We’ve watched her love him through THREE failed marriages already! What we DON’T remember is a single extended period where Liam has been faithful and committed to Hope without looking over his shoulder at Steffy!

And Hope’s reasoning for saying yes? “It feels different this time.” OH REALLY? Different how? Because from where we’re sitting on Bold and the Beautiful, it looks EXACTLY the same as the last three times, except now they’re letting Beth officiate as if that’s going to magically make this marriage stick!

This Is Hope And Liam’s FOURTH Marriage And The Definition Of Insanity

Here’s a fun fact about Hope Logan and Liam Spencer: this will be their FOURTH attempt at marriage! FOURTH! That’s not romance, that’s the literal definition of insanity, which is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results!

These two have been engaged, married, divorced, separated, reunited, broken up, and recycled more times than we can count. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, the pattern is the same. They get together, everything seems perfect, Steffy Forrester enters the picture, Liam starts having doubts, Hope gets her heart broken, they split up, and then eventually they decide to try again because apparently neither of them has learned ANYTHING!

The worst part is that the writers of Bold and the Beautiful keep presenting this as some grand romantic gesture when it’s actually just depressing! Liam promised Hope that his fake brain tumor made him realize what he wanted, but what he ACTUALLY realized is that being alone is scary and Hope is always there waiting for him like a safety net!

And let’s not forget that Liam’s proposal was prompted by thinking he was DYING! That’s not romance, that’s panic! And now that he’s perfectly healthy, how long before he starts second-guessing this decision and wondering if Steffy might be available?

Five Minutes After The Wedding, Everything Will Fall Apart

Here’s what’s absolutely going to happen on Bold and the Beautiful: Hope and Liam will get married in what’s sure to be a sickeningly sweet ceremony where Beth officiates, everyone will cry happy tears, and Brooke will give another speech about how this time is DIFFERENT!

And then FIVE MINUTES after the wedding, Steffy Forrester will have some kind of crisis. Maybe something will happen with Finn, or there’ll be a problem with Kelly, or she’ll just show up looking gorgeous and vulnerable. And Liam, being the emotionally weak man that he is, will immediately start having doubts about whether he made the right choice!

Or maybe the marriage will last a whole WEEK before Thomas Forrester comes back to town and starts stirring up trouble! Or perhaps Luna’s baby drama will somehow circle back and cause problems! The point is, there are approximately ONE MILLION ways this marriage is going to fail, and we’re supposed to sit here and pretend like this time will be different just because Liam delivered a prettier speech?

Here’s the REAL tea: Bold and the Beautiful fans are EXHAUSTED from watching Hope Logan and Liam Spencer recycle the same storyline over and over again! We’ve seen this relationship fail THREE TIMES already! We don’t need to watch it fail a FOURTH time just because the writers can’t come up with anything new!

The fact that the recaps are already joking about “here’s hoping the fourth time will be the charm” tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about how little faith anyone has in this relationship! Even the people writing the actual episodes are making sarcastic comments about Lope’s chances of success!

And you know what makes this even MORE frustrating? Hope and Liam are both actually decent characters who deserve better than this endless cycle of failure! Hope deserves a man who chooses her FIRST, not after exhausting all his other options! And Liam deserves to figure out what he actually wants instead of ping-ponging between two women for the rest of his life!
