IVY FORRESTER IS NOT PROTECTING ELECTRA SHE IS PROGRAMMING HER

TL;DR: Ivy Forrester sat across from Electra Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful and literally told her to repeat “I am with RJ” out loud like she was running a rehearsal for a life Electra did not choose. Between coaching her emotions, weaponizing the necklace, and scripting her responses to Will Spencer, Ivy has officially crossed from protective aunt into puppet master territory and it is getting uncomfortable to watch.

Repeat After Me Is Not What Aunts Say

Let us start with the moment that made every single viewer sit up straight. Ivy Forrester looked her niece in the eye and told her to repeat the words “I am with RJ.” Out loud. Like a script she needed to memorize before Will walked through the door.

That is not guidance. That is not the wisdom of an older woman who has been through heartbreak and wants to spare her niece the same pain. That is conditioning. That is an aunt who has decided what Electra Forrester’s life is going to look like and is now actively training her to perform it on command.

There is a word for what happens when someone tells you what to feel, reminds you of every wound to keep you angry, and then makes you rehearse the conclusion they have already reached on your behalf. And that word is not love.

The Emotional Arsenal Ivy Deployed

Let us break down the tools Ivy Forrester pulled out in this single conversation because the playbook was surgical. First, she reminded Electra that what Will Spencer did was “not proper.” Then she told her that Spencer men always apologize but keep misbehaving, painting an entire family with one brush. Then she brought up the necklace. Then the letter. Then she told Electra that Will’s cheating has to have consequences and she needs to hold onto the anger.

Every single one of those points was designed to close a door. Not to help Electra think through what she wants. Not to give her space to process her own feelings. To close the door on Will before Electra could decide for herself whether she wanted it open.

And then came the final move. After spending the entire conversation stoking the fire, Ivy did not ask her niece what she wanted. She told her what to say. She told her to repeat “I am with RJ Forrester.” And Electra, sitting there with tears in her eyes, tried to say the words her aunt was feeding her.

That image should haunt every viewer who watched it. A young woman with genuine feelings for two different people being told to rehearse lines by the person she trusts most.

The Part Ivy Does Not Want Anyone to Notice

Here is what makes all of this so much worse. Daphne Rose has been telling Ivy for days that the truth needs to come out. And Ivy keeps shutting her down, keeps telling her to stay quiet, keeps insisting that she knows what is best.

Which means Ivy Forrester is not just coaching Electra’s emotions. She is doing it while sitting on information that could change everything Electra thinks she knows.

That is not protection. That is control. And the fact that Ivy has been exactly where Electra is right now, the woman who was pushed around by Quinn Fuller and outmaneuvered by Steffy for years, makes it even harder to stomach. Ivy learned every manipulative trick from the women who hurt her and she is now running the exact same playbook on the person she claims to love most.

Will Walked In and Said Everything Ivy Was Afraid He Would Say

Meanwhile, Will Spencer walked into the showroom and told Electra that Dylan is gone. He told her she was his world. He told her that when they first met it was like Heaven sent him an angel. He kissed her hand and she shuddered.

Electra did not look like a woman who was over Will Spencer. Electra looked like a woman who was trying very hard to remember the script her aunt gave her. And that is the entire problem with what Ivy is doing. She is not helping Electra move on.

Even Steffy Forrester admitted that Will showed real character when he came to apologize. Steffy. The woman who does not hand out compliments to Spencer men casually. If Steffy can see that Will is sincere, the fact that Ivy cannot tells you everything you need to know about whose interests Ivy Forrester is actually serving.

And it is not Electra’s.

Ivy told Electra to repeat “I am with RJ” out loud like a script. Is this the most controlling thing any aunt has ever done on this show or does Ivy genuinely believe she is helping? Sound off below because this comment section is about to be wild!
