Will’s heart is tangled up with Electra, a Forrester to her bones, and the business he is helping his family wage war on is aimed straight at her people. Katie can grin all she likes, but the boy caught in the middle is the one with the most to lose.

Electra and Will Trade Sweet Nothings at the Beach House

Back at the beach house, the calm before the storm is almost unbearable. Electra Forrester curls up with Will and offers him the kind of blessing destined to age very badly. “I really hope tomorrow is a big win for all of you,” she tells him, not knowing that the win she is wishing for is a dagger pointed at her own family.

The dramatic irony here is positively Shakespearean. Electra is rooting for the very launch designed to leave the Forresters in the dust. Will, meanwhile, is sitting on a secret that could blow their romance to smithereens the second the truth comes out. Every tender word she offers stacks another brick on the powder keg, and we cannot look away.

Dottie Drops the News in the Forrester Office

Then the warning shot lands right in the heart of enemy territory. Dottie sweeps into the Forrester Creations main office and tells the family flat out, “Logan is dropping their new collection tomorrow.” Cue the dropped jaws, the narrowed eyes, the scramble.

The Forresters have spent weeks badmouthing Logan and crowing about their own couture line, certain there was no competition worth fearing. Now the rival drop has a date, a deadline, and a mystery designer they still cannot name. The smug grins are seconds from curdling, and the race is officially on.

Brooke Smells a Rat and Hope Is Hiding in the Hall

Saving the juiciest for last, because this is the one that makes our pulse race. In the Logan office, Brooke Logan rounds on her sister with a demand that cuts to the bone. “How could you find a designer so fast?” she presses Katie. And Katie Logan, cool as ever, lies right to her face. “Well, we got really lucky,” she says.

Here is the gut-punch. Hope Logan is eavesdropping just outside that door, listening to her aunt cover for the secret that Hope herself is living. The mystery designer Brooke is so desperate to unmask is her own daughter, working for the enemy, hiding in the hallway while the lie gets told out loud.
