Katie could research which prisons have the highest rates of inmate violence, the worst safety records, the most dangerous populations—and then orchestrate Luna’s transfer there! She could make it look like a routine administrative decision while secretly knowing she’s sending Luna into a war zone!
And the best part? Katie’s hands would be clean! If something happens to Luna in a different facility, no one would trace it back to Katie Logan! She’d just be the grieving grandmother mourning the loss of her grandchild while secretly celebrating that the monster who hurt her son is finally gone!

Katie could weaponize Bill’s guilt and turn him into her hitman without him even realizing he’s being manipulated!
What If Katie Tries to POISON Luna?
Here’s perhaps the most diabolical scenario: What if Katie tries to poison Luna to cause a miscarriage without killing her?! Katie could research drugs or toxins that terminate pregnancies without being obviously lethal! She could bribe a prison guard to slip something into Luna’s food! She could even pose as someone delivering supplies to the prison and contaminate something Luna would consume!
Think about how calculated this would be—Katie could eliminate the pregnancy (freeing Will from that biological connection to Luna) while keeping Luna alive to serve her prison sentence! It’s almost the perfect crime! Luna would be alive, so Katie couldn’t be charged with murder. The baby would be gone, so Will wouldn’t have that permanent tie to his rapist. And Katie could play the devastated grandmother who “lost” her grandchild!
The only risk is that whatever Katie uses might not work as planned and could kill both Luna AND the baby, or worse—just harm the baby but not terminate the pregnancy, leaving Katie’s grandchild with birth defects or disabilities! The moral implications alone are staggering!
