Listen, we need to talk about Bill Spencer. The man has many talents: building empires, brooding handsomely, wearing that sword necklace like his life depends on it. But reading social cues? Absolutely not on the résumé. Hope Logan and Liam Spencer are FINALLY getting married on Bold and the Beautiful this week, and instead of simply enjoying the open bar and keeping his proposal plans to himself, Bill decides the Spencer Estate wedding is the perfect backdrop for his own romantic moment.
According to a newly released B&B promo, Bill gets down on one knee during the festivities and asks Katie Logan to be his Mrs. Spencer. Again. Because nothing says “I love you” like hijacking your son’s wedding day. Hope and Liam are standing at the altar pledging their eternal devotion and Bill Spencer is over there making it about himself. Truly, the man’s audacity knows no bounds.

Third Time’s the Charm? Or Third Time’s a Mess?
For those keeping track at home, Bill Spencer and Katie Logan have already walked down the aisle TWICE on Bold and the Beautiful. Their first marriage kicked off in November 2009, back when we were all young and hopeful that these two crazy kids could make it work. Spoiler alert: they did not. Round two lasted from 2015 to 2016, and once again, things fell apart spectacularly.
The common denominator in both marriage implosions? Bill’s wandering eye toward Katie’s sister, Brooke Logan. Nothing says “family dinner awkwardness” quite like your husband being in love with your sibling. Katie spent YEARS competing with Brooke for Bill’s attention, and honestly, the woman deserves a medal for not losing her mind entirely. The love triangle between these three was exhausting for everyone involved, including those of us watching from home and screaming at our televisions.
But here’s the thing: Brooke is now happily married to Ridge Forrester, and “Bridge” seems solid for the moment. Ridge and Brooke have found their groove, which means Bill Spencer is no longer pining after his sister-in-law. So naturally, he’s circled right back to Katie, and the two have been slowly rebuilding their relationship over the past few months. He’s even been pressuring her to leave Forrester Creations and return to Spencer Publications, because Bill Spencer doesn’t do anything halfway. The man wants Katie back in every aspect of his life, and he’s not being subtle about it.
Will Katie Logan Actually Say Yes?
Here’s the million-dollar question: does Katie Logan actually want to marry Bill Spencer for a THIRD time? The woman has been through it with this man. The affairs, the drama, the constant competition with her own sister for his attention, the endless cycle of heartbreak and reconciliation. At some point, self-preservation has to kick in, right? Katie has every reason to pump the brakes and tell Bill that maybe proposing at their son’s wedding isn’t the flex he thinks it is.
Then again, this is Bold and the Beautiful, where characters remarry their exes more often than they change their designer outfits. Bill and Katie clearly have unfinished business, and despite everything they’ve been through, there’s still something there. Whether it’s true love or just comfortable familiarity at this point is up for debate, but Katie could absolutely say yes and we’d all just nod along because that’s the soap life we signed up for.
Poor Hope and Liam, Honestly
Can we take a moment to acknowledge that Hope Logan and Liam Spencer cannot catch a break? These two have been through the wringer over the years, and they’re FINALLY getting their happy ending this week. The wedding is happening at the Spencer Estate, surrounded by family and friends, and it should be their moment to shine. Instead, Bill Spencer is out here treating the reception like his personal proposal venue.
Whether Katie accepts or sends Bill packing remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Hope and Liam’s wedding is about to get overshadowed by Dollar Bill’s complete inability to let anyone else have a moment. The man looked around at his son’s wedding and thought “yes, this is definitely about ME.” Incredible. Unhinged. Absolutely on brand.
