Deputy Chief Baker announces that Luna is dead and that the prison “confirmed the miscarriage.” But here’s my question: HOW exactly did the prison confirm it? Did they do an ultrasound? Run blood tests? Or did Luna Nozawa—a woman who has proven herself to be a masterful liar and manipulator—simply TELL them she miscarried?

This is a woman who murdered Tom Starr and Hollis. She drugged and assaulted her cousin’s husband. She held Steffy Forrester Finnegan in a CAGE. She manipulated everyone around her for MONTHS. But we’re supposed to believe she just honestly reported a miscarriage to prison officials? PLEASE.

But if she’s “dead” AND the baby is “gone”? Nobody’s looking for her anymore. Nobody’s monitoring a pregnancy. Nobody’s preparing custody arrangements. She could disappear, have that baby in secret, and return in six months or a year with a Spencer heir that she’s been raising on her own terms.

Luna literally told Will she thought the baby would make her “worthy of love and redemption.” She was OBSESSED with the idea that this child was her ticket to legitimacy. You think she’d just let it go because of some prison stress? That baby was her entire plan!

Luna Nozawa was too compelling, too unhinged, and too connected to major families to just die in a random hit-and-run!

Lisa Yamada has been absolutely ELECTRIC in this role. The show invested heavily in Luna’s villain arc. You don’t build up a character like that just to kill her off with a car that nobody saw hit her. This has “mysterious return in sweeps” written ALL over it!
