This Woman Keeps Getting Rescued by Young Men

Let us look at the pattern on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Miss Dylan was down on her luck. Living in her car. No job. No prospects. And then Will Spencer swooped in and gave her a place to stay in his guest house. He defended her to Electra. He invited her to dinner. He watched her dance. He let her comfort him when he cried about his childhood. He cannot stop thinking about her — he stood in the Forrester showroom sighing “I hope you’re happy, Dylan” while flashing back to her twirling around his living room.

Will Spencer is wrapped around her finger. And he does not even realize it.

Now Deke Sharpe finds her eating pizza out of a box behind the dumpster at Il Giardino. He promises to help her. The spoilers say he offers her a job. Another young man. Another rescue. Another savior falling right into her lap.

She Knew Exactly When to Be at That Dumpster

Here is the thing. Dylan has been around Il Giardino before. She knows Deacon Sharpe owns the place. She knows his son Deke works there. She would know when the trash gets taken out.

If you were homeless and starving, would you eat out of a dumpster in broad daylight at a busy restaurant where anyone could see you? Or would you wait until the middle of the night when no one was around?

Dylan was not hiding. She was positioned. She was waiting. And when Deke Sharpe walked out with that trash bag, she was exactly where she needed to be — vulnerable, tearful, and in desperate need of a hero.

Deke did exactly what she knew he would do. He felt sorry for her. He promised to help. And now she has a job at the restaurant and another young man ready to defend her honor.

Ivy Forrester Sees It

Ivy Forrester has been watching Miss Dylan since the beginning. She saw her in that bikini at Will’s place. She saw her hand him a towel after the shower. She saw her dance right into his lap. She saw her comfort him when he cried.

Everyone called Ivy a prude. Everyone said she was overreacting. But Ivy was watching a woman work her magic on a young man in real time — and she was the only one paying attention.

And when Will Spencer finds out that Melissa Dylan is now working at Il Giardino, being helped by Deke Sharpe, looking just as vulnerable and beautiful as she did in his guest house? That is when things get interesting.

Because Melissa Dylan does not need one hero. She needs options. And right now, she has two young men who think they are the only one who truly sees her.
