FINN’S DAUGHTER AND GRANDCHILD DIED BUT BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL HAD STEFFY POPPING CHAMPAGNE AT THANKSGIVING

TL;DR: Luna Nozawa was hit by a car and killed just days before Thanksgiving, taking Finn’s unborn grandchild with her. And what does Bold and the Beautiful have Steffy Forrester doing? Literally saying Luna’s death is something to be THANKFUL for while Finn sits there processing complicated grief. The audacity!

Finn Just Lost His Daughter AND His Grandchild in the Same Week

Let’s talk about what Bold and the Beautiful is casually glossing over: John Finnegan just experienced a DOUBLE tragedy. Luna Nozawaโ€”his biological daughterโ€”was struck and killed by a car while trying to evade arrest. But that’s not all. Luna had ALSO just suffered a miscarriage days before her death. That baby? It would have been Finn’s grandchild. A Spencer baby, yes, but also Finn’s first grandchild.

So within the span of a week, Finn lost his daughter AND his grandchild. That’s the kind of grief that would bring most people to their knees. But Bold and the Beautiful decided the appropriate response was to have everyone pop champagne and celebrate like Luna’s death was a holiday gift that arrived early.

Steffy Forrester Literally Said Luna’s Death Was “Something to Be Thankful For”

The absolute AUDACITY of Steffy Forrester sitting at Thanksgiving dinner and declaring that Luna being dead is something to celebrate. Yes, Luna was a murderer. Yes, Luna terrorized the Forresters and Spencers. Yes, Luna shot Steffy and held people hostage. But she was also Finn’s DAUGHTER, and Steffy said this directly in front of her husband.

At the cliff house Thanksgiving celebration, Steffy got emotional talking about how grateful she is that her family is “safer than they’ve ever been.” Translation: she’s thankful Luna is dead. Meanwhile, Finn admitted to Steffy that it’s NOT that simple for him. He told her that Luna needed a father, and by the time he found out about her, it was too late. His heart is broken because “it didn’t have to end up this way.”

Even Poppy Nozawa Said She’s GLAD Luna Is Gone

The dysfunction doesn’t stop with Steffy. Luna’s own mother Poppy Nozawa declared that she’s GLAD her daughter is dead. Li Finnegan had the nerve to snap at Poppy, saying “No wonder Luna was so tormented”โ€”and honestly? Li might be the only person on this show making any sense right now.

Luna didn’t become a monster in a vacuum. She was failed by every adult in her life. Finn didn’t know she existed. Poppy kept the paternity secret. And now that Luna is dead, everyone is acting like she was simply born evil rather than acknowledging that maybeโ€”just MAYBEโ€”things could have been different if someone had actually tried to help her.

Sheila Carter Is the Only Person Mourning and That’s WILD

Here’s the most unhinged twist of all: Sheila Carter is the only person genuinely grieving Luna’s death. SHEILA. The woman who has terrorized this show for decades is sitting at home mourning her granddaughter while Finn’s entire family celebrates. Sheila actually wanted to be a great-grandma to Luna’s baby. She told Deacon she can’t be happy about Luna being gone.

When SHEILA CARTER has more emotional depth about a death than the victim’s own father, something has gone terribly wrong. Deacon told Sheila that karma caught up with Luna, but Sheila countered that people used to say the same thing about her. And she’s RIGHT. If Sheila can change, why didn’t anyone give Luna that chance?
