When Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) showed up and dropped the bombshell that Eric was the lead designer behind Katie‘s new fashion house, Logan, Ridge absolutely detonated.

And the thing is? He created this mess himself.

Before Christmas 2025, Ridge pushed Eric toward retirement and staged a celebration the patriarch never wanted. Eric felt pushed out to pasture. So when Katie offered him a seat at a brand-new design table, Eric jumped at the chance. One condition: total secrecy.

That secrecy held for weeks. Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) spent January obsessing over who Katie‘s mystery designer was. Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was the only other person in on the truth, and the pressure nearly broke her.

Then February 18 happened and Katie ripped the bandage off. She stood right in front of Ridge and Brooke and confirmed that Eric had been the creative force behind Logan this entire time.

Katie didn’t steal Eric. She offered him purpose when his own family stripped it away. Logan is 100% Spencer-funded with no non-compete clause preventing Eric from working there. So when Ridge blew up at Katie, he wasn’t defending his father. He was defending his control over a man who decided he was done being controlled.

What’s Next for Ridge and Katie?

Spoilers for February 23 confirm Brooke and Katie clash again while Ridge and Eric reach some kind of understanding. Don’t get comfortable with that truce though. By February 24, Katie is defending her decision and refusing to fold.

Could this mean the fight shifts from screaming to legal warfare? Don’t be surprised if Ridge tries to claim Eric‘s designs as Forrester Creations intellectual property. Given Ridge‘s history of fighting dirty when his ego takes a hit, a courtroom battle feels almost inevitable.
