Ridge Forrester Makes His Move

On the latest episode of Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge Forrester sat Electra down at Brooke’s and got straight to work. People who love you, he told her, don’t crush you. The families are at war now, he insisted, and Will simply won’t change. Electra broke down, telling Ridge that Will wasn’t honest with her from the start.

Ridge wasn’t finished. He pushed her to choose a side and specifically told her not to move back in with Will. When Electra’s phone buzzed with a text from him, Ridge jumped in immediately, urging her to be smart and not respond. Electra, tearful, said she understood.

Two Broken Hearts, Same Moment

Here’s where it gets interesting. Electra stepped outside and cried. At the exact same time, across town, Will was standing outside his own place crying just as hard. Two people, completely miserable, kept apart by a masterclass in isolation tactics.

He told Bill at the beach house that he’d just gotten Electra back, only to lose her again to what he called the “fashion war.” He confessed to hitting RJ again and admitted he wishes he’d been upfront with Electra from the beginning about Forrester shutting down her clothing line. Bill reminded his son there are plenty of other women in L.A. and that this was strictly business, urging Will to think instead of swing.

Isolate, Divide, Conquer

Ridge Forrester didn’t just advise Electra today. He ran a full campaign. He told her who to trust, who not to text back, and who to cut out of her life entirely, all while she was actively grieving that exact person. That is not gentle guidance. That is isolation dressed up as concern, and it is a page straight out of the Forrester family playbook.

We’re not saying Will’s temper isn’t a real problem. Bill himself flagged it. But Ridge’s approach isn’t protecting Electra from heartbreak. It’s guaranteeing it, just on his terms instead of hers.
