With Will Spencer and Electra Forrester now living under the same roof and watching everyone’s business, it is only a matter of time before this bomb goes off.

Here is why this is such a glorious mess. Dylan looked her best friend Electra in the eye and promised she would never date anyone at Forrester Creations. Then she went and tumbled straight into bed with the boss’s son. RJ is not just any random coworker, either. He is Ridge Forrester‘s son, a card-carrying member of the Forrester dynasty, and pretty much the exact kind of guy Dylan swore up and down she would steer clear of. So much for girl code, and so much for keeping a low profile.

Does Will Spencer Still Have Feelings for Melissa Dylan?

Maybe he does. Will and Dylan were roommates not too long ago, back when she had nowhere else to turn and he opened his door to her. The two of them shared a few kisses along the way, and Dylan made it crystal clear that she wanted something more. Then Electra walked back into his life, and Will dropped Dylan like a hot potato. He picked Electra, he fought for Electra, and he even got himself fired in the process. So pardon us if his sudden, burning concern for Dylan‘s love life feels a little bit suspicious.

Let us not forget how we even got here. Will and RJ have been circling each other like sharks for weeks, and it finally boiled over when Will hauled off and punched RJ right in the gut. That one swing cost Will his job, because RJ Forrester made absolutely sure of it. And here is the connection nobody else seems to be making. Will blew up his entire career throwing punches over Electra, yet now he cannot stop fixating on who Dylan is sleeping with. You do not get to dump a woman, lose your job fighting for somebody else, and then act wounded when she finally moves on.

WILL’S JEALOUSY COULD BLOW UP HIS REUNION WITH ELECTRA

Whatever is really fueling all of this, jealousy or so-called genuine worry, Electra is not going to enjoy watching her boyfriend obsess over another woman’s romance. She fought tooth and nail to get Will back and move in with him, and she did not sign up to compete with Dylan for his attention. We already watched Will struggle to keep one secret from Electra, and that did not exactly do wonders for their trust. If he spends every waking moment policing this new fling, his hard-won reunion could land in real trouble.

So what comes next? Reading between the lines, do not be surprised if RJ is playing a much longer game here. RJ Forrester has gone head to head with Will before, and something tells me he would not lose a wink of sleep over twisting the knife by flaunting this romance in his rival’s face. Could Dylan be nothing more than a pawn in his feud? If Will erupts and blows the secret wide open, Electra discovers that her best friend lied straight to her face, and the fallout slams into everyone at the exact same time. My gut says this one ends in tears for at least one of them.

One thing is certain on The Bold and the Beautiful. This love square is a powder keg with a very short fuse. RJ Forrester and Dylan cannot stay hidden forever, Will cannot keep his mouth shut to save his life, and Electra is one bad afternoon away from connecting all the dots. When this secret finally detonates, do not expect anyone to walk away clean.
