RJ FORRESTER CLOSED A DOOR AND MADE A MOVE ON ELECTRA

TL;DR: On Wednesday’s Bold and the Beautiful, RJ Forrester physically closed the showroom door behind Electra and delivered a full-court press. He trashed Will Spencer, told Electra he cares about her, doubted first love means forever love, and warned her Will would assume he was making a move. Spoiler: RJ was making the move while he said it. Electra told him she’s moving in with Will. RJ called it a big mistake. The triangle just got nuclear and Will is one phone call away from finding out his cousin tried to recruit his girlfriend.

The Door Closed and the Pitch Started

RJ Forrester closed the showroom door behind Electra Forrester on Wednesday’s Bold and the Beautiful and delivered one of the most thinly veiled romantic recruitment pitches this canvas has seen in years. He trashed Will Spencer. He called him deeply insecure. He gushed about how lucky he is to be around her. He doubted first love would mean forever love. Then he handed her the exact script of what Will would accuse him of doing.

Bestie, RJ told Electra that Will would assume he was coming onto her in his absence, and he was coming onto her while he said it.

The Door Closed Behind Her and the Game Started

The models had finished gossiping about Will getting fired and giggling at RJ. Electra walked in. RJ closed the door. That detail is everything. He didn’t leave it open. He didn’t keep the conversation casual. He physically closed the room around her and started his pitch.

He guessed she must be angry at him for pushing Will out of the company. She blamed herself. He told her she was not to blame. Then he trashed Will to her face. Said Will was deeply insecure and a Spencer should not have been working at Forrester anyway. He framed punching Will as a logical reaction to Will’s own personality flaws.

That is not RJ defending himself. That is RJ tearing down her boyfriend in a closed room.

Electra Said She Was Moving in With Him

Electra did not flinch. She told RJ she and Will were still together and she was moving in with him. RJ stared at her and called it a big mistake. Then he pivoted to the speech he came to give.

He told her how much he cares about her. How lucky he is to be around her. How doubtful he is that first love means forever love. He told her Will would assume he was coming onto her in his absence. He told her it would be hard for him not to.

Hard for HIM not to. He said that out loud. He framed his own future move as something he might struggle to resist while pretending he was warning her about Will. That is not a friend talking. That is a man laying the foundation to make a move and pre-blaming Will for noticing.

RJ Forrester Pulled the Oldest Trick in the Book

Now for the speculation. The script he ran on Electra is a textbook three-step manipulation, and the show drew it in highlighter.

Step one. Isolate her physically. Closed door. Empty showroom. Step two. Tear down the partner. Will is insecure. Will is the problem. Step three. Position yourself as the safer option. I care about you. First love is not forever love.

Then the bonus step. Pre-build the alibi. Will is going to think I am coming onto you. He is wrong, obviously. But that is what he is going to think. When it actually happens, RJ can say he warned her.

Sis, that is not concern. That is a setup. RJ Forrester closed the door, demolished her boyfriend, declared his feelings, and pre-emptively gaslit her about her own boyfriend’s reaction. Jackie Collins would have applauded.

The Will Spencer Counter Is Coming

Here is the soapiest layer. Electra agreed to move in with Will. Will is now working at Logan with his father. Will punched RJ once already over Electra. RJ does not know any of the new dynamic. He thinks Electra is going to be at Forrester alone every day while Will is across town with Bill.

When Will finds out RJ closed a door on Electra and gave her a love speech disguised as a warning, he is not going to use his words. The last time he was upset with RJ he threw a punch. This time he has Bill Spencer behind him, a beach house, and a brand new perch at Logan. Will is going to be exactly as insecure as RJ predicted, and exactly as right about it.

Electra is sitting in the middle of two men who have been swinging at each other for months, and RJ Forrester handed Will the ammunition for the next round.

The Showroom Door Was the Soapiest Moment of the Week

Bring popcorn. RJ closed a door, performed a five-minute character assassination of Will Spencer, declared he cared about Electra in the same breath, and warned her that Will would imagine the very move he was setting up. The mask did not slip. The mask was never on.

Electra walked out of that showroom into the most loaded triangle on the canvas, and Will Spencer is one phone call away from finding out his cousin made moves on his girlfriend on Bold and the Beautiful.
