They told him this wasn’t about replacing HFTF, it was about building fashion that actually lasts. Electra admitted upfront they were asking for a lot, and Ridge called her an asset without hesitating.

RJ kept building the case, confident this pays off, and added that Zende would be brought into the fold too, rounding out the pitch with an actual design pedigree behind the ambition. Ridge didn’t hand over a green light so much as lean into the idea, telling them their ambition was exactly what the company needed to stick it to Logan. One industry breakdown already noted how often these informal blessings fall apart the moment a second Forrester weighs in. Steffy has never been shy about pumping the brakes when she thinks a Forrester decision is moving too fast.

RJ Forrester told Electra they’d make fashion history like his parents did, and Electra Forrester is already treating this like a done deal. That is not a low bar RJ Forrester and Electra Forrester are stepping over, that is a wall.

RJ has enthusiasm and a family name. Electra has ambition and zero modeling experience beyond her own selfies, a gap that becomes very visible under professional lighting. Zende brings real design chops, sure, but pairing him with two people this green against a proven winner like Deke feels less like a fair fight and more like Forrester Creations setting itself up for a very public runway embarrassment in front of an industry that already has its favorites picked.

The Confidence Is Cute, But the Competition Is Real

RJ Forrester and Electra Forrester left that office today on Bold and the Beautiful thanking each other and dreaming about fashion history, and honestly, good for them. But Hope Logan and Deke Sharpe have already shown this company exactly what real competition looks like, and this trio has not proven a single thing yet beyond a good pitch deck and Eric’s approving nod on some sketches. Confidence has never once been the hard part of this business, execution is, and execution is exactly what nobody has seen from this trio yet.
