For weeks, Eric Forrester has been sneaking around like a man with a mistress — except the affair is not romantic. It is professional. The patriarch of Forrester Creations, the man who built that empire stitch by stitch, has been secretly designing for Katie Logan’s upstart fashion house behind his own family’s back.

And they are about to find out.

Coming up on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge and Brooke discover that Eric is not spending his retirement playing golf and perfecting his egg nog. He has been pouring his genius into Logan’s debut collection, and the designs are apparently spectacular. Donna has known. Liam has known. Bill and Katie have known. The only people who did not get the memo are the two who pushed Eric out the door in the first place.

When the confrontation erupts in Eric Forrester’s living room, it gets ugly fast. Eric screams at Brooke and Ridge that he can still create designs, and there is decades of fury behind those words. This is a man who sat alone in the dark at his old desk on Christmas Eve because his own son decided his time was up. A man who watched Ridge take the company he founded with Stephanie and run it without him. The rage has been building since December, and it is about to blow.

But here is where the spoilers take a terrifying turn. The stress of defending himself to Ridge and Brooke puts such a physical strain on Eric Forrester that he becomes short of breath. Before anyone can process what is happening, someone is calling 911.

We are left wondering whether the fight that was supposed to be about pride and legacy might end up being about something far worse. Eric has been battling a mystery health condition that the show has been teasing for months, and this confrontation could be the thing that sends it spiraling out of control. The man who refused to go quietly into retirement might end up in an ambulance because his own family could not let him have this one thing.

Ridge wanted to protect his father’s health by pushing him out of Forrester. How is that working out now?

Will Spencer Cannot Catch a Break

Meanwhile, the other mess exploding across Los Angeles involves Will Spencer, Electra Forrester, and the most ridiculous misunderstanding Ivy Forrester has ever manufactured.

Ivy convinced Electra that she practically walked in on an orgy at the beach house while she was out of town. The scandalous evidence? Dylan in a bikini and a ballet dance. That is it. That is the crime. But Electra bought it because Ivy sells poison with a smile and a posh accent, and now Will is scrambling to save a relationship that was perfectly fine before his girlfriend’s aunt decided to blow it up.

Will is not giving up. He argues that everything was great before Ivy started meddling, and he is right. But Electra fires back with the one line that is impossible to argue with — if the roles were reversed, she would not want a guy living with him either.

The obvious solution is staring everyone in the face. Bill Spencer owns half of Los Angeles. There has to be a guest house, an apartment complex, a renovated yacht somewhere in that portfolio where Dylan could stay. Deke already offered her a job at Il Giardino, so a room upstairs is not out of the question either.

But this is The Bold and the Beautiful, so the obvious solution will remain permanently invisible to every character on screen. Electra is going to dig in, Will is going to get more frustrated, and Dylan — who literally thinks of Will as a prince — is going to keep being caught in the middle of a war she never started.

If you ask us, Electra is overplaying this so hard that Will might eventually look at the woman who actually appreciates him and start asking himself some very dangerous questions.
