RJ brought orchids and got a closed door at the end of the evening.

And then Will Spencer opened his door and his heart and suddenly Dylan had a roof, a gig at Forrester Creations, and a billionaire’s son telling her she is beautiful while stroking her hair.

Dylan told Will she loves him. And maybe she does. But she also knows that Ivy Forrester dismantled Will and Electra’s entire relationship and she has not said a single word about it. Ivy told her to keep quiet, take Will, and enjoy the opportunity. Dylan took the deal. She is holding on to Will Spencer with both hands and a silence that is doing all the heavy lifting.

This is a woman who went from sleeping in a car to being kissed by a Spencer on a couch in a beach house. She is not letting go of that. Yes, the show has made it very clear, multiple times now, that they are not blood related. RJ even paused the evening to establish this fact again, because apparently it needs to be said before every swimsuit dare and lemon bar.

They are cousins. They share a surname. RJ is the son of Ridge and Brooke. Electra is the daughter of an extended Forrester branch. The show keeps telling us it is fine because there is no biological connection, and technically that is true. But watching two people with the same last name flirt by a pool while one of them dares the other to swim naked is a visual that even The Bold and the Beautiful cannot fully smooth over with a quick “we’re not blood related” disclaimer and some Portuguese.

Ivy is pushing this romance like it is the love story of the century. She is posting photos. She is setting up dinners. She is gasping from balconies. And Electra sat across from RJ, ate a lemon bar, and told him her heart is still with Will.
