WILL SPENCER MELTS DOWN AFTER ELECTRA FORRESTER WALKS AWAY

TL;DR: Will Spencer swung fists at RJ Forrester, screamed at an empty sky, and still cannot see why Electra Forrester walked out, and we have some thoughts about his flair for the dramatic.

The Fight That Ended It All

Will Spencer had a rough night, and by rough we mean self-inflicted. Electra Forrester already spent the whole day furious that he sat on the HFTF diamond and the Logan jewelry line instead of warning her. By the time she made it to the beach house, she was done being kept in the dark.

Will tried the sworn-to-secrecy defense, then pivoted to “I love you” while still holding her hand. Neither move worked. Electra told him plainly that there aren’t supposed to be secrets between them, and that this was too much for her to carry. She tried to leave, and he grabbed her arm to stop her.

That’s when RJ Forrester showed up in the doorway, ordered Will to let her go, and accused him of only loving Electra when it benefits him. Will told him to get out. Instead of de-escalating anything, he threw a punch that sent RJ across the room, then knelt down to keep swinging until Electra physically stopped him.

Screaming at the Sky Was a Choice

Electra drove RJ home. Before she left, she threw the WE necklace at Will and told him she can’t do this anymore. Will did not take the hint gracefully. He fell to the ground and screamed her name at the sky, which is certainly one way to process a breakup.

We get that heartbreak is real, and Will clearly loves Electra, or at least loves the version of her who doesn’t ask questions. But watching him tackle RJ over a phrase like “back off,” then collapse into a screaming heap the second she drives away, is not the reaction of a stable adult in a healthy relationship. It’s the reaction of a man who thinks devotion means never being told no.

Meanwhile, over at Forrester, Ridge and Steffy were busy calling Electra’s fallout a crisis, while RJ stormed out specifically to protect her from Will. Even the people who barely like each other agreed Will handled this badly.

Our Hot Take: Will Should Let Miss Drama Queen Go

Here’s our take, and we’re not sorry about it: Electra wanting Will to blow up Forrester business secrets for her peace of mind was never a reasonable ask. Trade secrets exist for a reason, and “cherish me by breaking your family’s confidentiality” is not a healthy relationship standard.

That said, Will’s reaction to losing that argument was its own kind of unhinged. Punching RJ into a wall and then sobbing at the heavens is final-boss overreacting, the kind of scene that makes us laugh even when it’s meant to break our hearts. Nobody comes out of that beach house looking good.

We predict Will spends the next few weeks convinced Electra will come crawling back, and we think he’s setting himself up for disappointment. If Electra truly cannot handle secrecy that comes with dating into two soap-opera families, maybe Will Spencer is better off single for a while.
