On Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Will Spencer and RJ Forrester meet up for the first time in years, and let’s just say the timing couldn’t be worse. Or better, depending on how much you enjoy watching grown men get territorial over a woman.
See, RJ just found out that his new crush Electra is actually dating Will Spencer. You know, the guy RJ probably hasn’t thought about since they were kids running around Forrester Creations getting underfoot. Now they’re adults, and suddenly Will is standing between RJ and the woman who made his heart go pitter-patter the second they locked eyes.
The writers have been setting up this love square for weeks now. Between Dylan making eyes at Will, Electra and RJ practically turning into heart-eye emojis when they first met, and Will being blissfully unaware that his girlfriend’s friend is crushing hard, this whole situation is a powder keg waiting to explode.

What makes this reunion so delicious is the family history. Will is Bill Spencer’s son, and RJ is Ridge Forrester’s boy. These two families have been frenemies for decades, trading insults and stealing each other’s wives with alarming regularity. Now the next generation is squaring up, and the battleground is Electra’s heart.
Will Spencer has been through a lot lately. Between the Luna nightmare and trying to build something real with Electra, the last thing he needs is some newly returned Forrester heir giving him competition. But RJ isn’t going to back down easily.
