The Bold and the Beautiful
B&B’s Wyatt Spencer Reached Into His Pocket and Pulled Out the $100 Million Hope for the Future Diamond!
Wyatt Spencer pulled the Hope for the Future diamond out of his pocket today. He has been carrying it. This is not a simple business story.
WYATT SPENCER HAD THE HFTF DIAMOND ON HIM THIS WHOLE TIME AND THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HIS PLAN IS
TL;DR: Liam Spencer brought up the Hope for the Future diamond today and Wyatt Spencer reached into his pocket and pulled it out. He has been carrying it. The $100 million gem that launched his romance with Hope Logan, that he gave her in front of the press, that Ricardo Montemayor willed to him, has been with him the whole time. The Bold and the Beautiful made this a lot more interesting than a business deal.
He Had It on Him
When Liam Spencer brought up the Hope for the Future diamond today, Wyatt Spencer did not say he would look into it. He did not say he had it in storage or in a vault or somewhere safe. He reached into his pocket and pulled it out.
Wyatt Spencer has been carrying a $100 million diamond on his person. He walked into Spencer Publications, reunited with his father and his brother, listened to Bill Spencer pitch the Logan fashion war, sat through Liam urging him to come on board, and had the diamond on him the entire time. That is not a man treating this as a business asset. That is a man who has not let go of something.
The Hope for the Future diamond is not a simple jewel. It has a history attached to it that everyone in that room is pretending does not exist.
What do you think it means that Wyatt has been carrying that diamond? Send your theory to amber@soapoperamagazine.com and we just might publish it!
What That Diamond Actually Is
In 2013, Wyatt Spencer and his mother Quinn traveled to Mexico to charm a collector named Ricardo Montemayor into loaning a massive blue diamond for a Hope for the Future fashion event. Ricardo believed the gem could lead people to their destinies. Wyatt believed in Hope Logan. The two beliefs collided at the worst possible time for Liam Spencer and the best possible time for everyone watching.
Wyatt gave Hope the diamond in front of the press. Then he married her. Ricardo later died and willed the stone to Wyatt. A $100 million inheritance from a man he had known briefly, left to the person who understood what Ricardo believed about it.
And now Wyatt is sitting in a Spencer conference room with that same diamond in his pocket while Liam tells him Logan is a kinder and gentler place and begs him to come on board so the three brothers can work together.
What Bill Thinks This Is
Bill Spencer has been straightforward about his plan. He wants the diamond to generate headlines for Logan. He wants to use it to announce the war, to make clear the rival fashion house is here and it means business. He told Liam that if Wyatt comes through, the publicity will be off the charts. Keep it secret for now, Bill said. This is a weapon.
Bill is not thinking about what Wyatt felt when he pulled that stone out of his pocket today, or why a man who has been carrying it decided to bring it along on a trip home to Los Angeles.
What Wyatt Has Not Said Yet
Today’s episode ended with Wyatt contemplating joining Logan. Not a yes. Not a no. A man sitting with a $100 million diamond he clearly has not put down in years, being asked to hand it over for a press campaign about a woman he was once in love with, who is now secretly working for his stepmother at a company his father built as a wedding present.
He came home because Bill summoned him. He brought the diamond because he has apparently been carrying it the whole time. The Bold and the Beautiful can call this a fashion war story if it wants. That pocket tells a different one.
Wyatt Spencer had that diamond on him when he walked through the door today and we need to know what you think that means. Is this a business deal or is the diamond pulling Wyatt back toward something the show has not named yet? Sound off below!
