Newer Y&& fans are giving Billy Flynn grace, but Young & the Restless fans from the start are calling bull crap. So, what’s next for Cane Ashby & his ex-wife Lily Winters after the not-so-big Aristotle Dumas reveal? Lily Winters Forgot to Mention, She Sees & Talks to Cane
Billy Flynn has been set up to fail as Cane Ashby on Young & the Restless, & Billy Flynn fans are not liking it at all. Also, every soap opera fan who watched Daniel Goddard portray Cane Ashby doesn’t like it either.
Billy Flynn gives out zero Cane Ashby vibes. Perhaps that’s because he is 13 years younger than the previous portrayer of Cane Ashby. Also, Lily Winters & Cane Ashby (Christel Khalil & now Billy Flynn, previously Daniel Goddard) have adult twin children.
Speaking of Lily & Cane’s children, just now it’s been revealed that Lily & Cane have been keeping in touch in regards to their children. While that makes sense, not one of these occasions was previously mentioned. It was just revealed to Young & the Restless fans that Cane was with Lily in L.A. to support their daughter Mattie. Why wasn’t there any previous chatter about said chats & visits between Lily & Cane? Lily’s brother Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) would have had a Debbie-Downer field day with all of this information.
6 Years of Losing an Accent, More $$$, & an MIA Kid
Lily Winters did not even recognize her ex-husband’s voice or the back of his head when she came up on him after a trip through the Dumas maze. Ok, maybe… Maybe if Lily hasn’t been in contact with Cane for 6 years, but she has. What in the fresh hell is this all about? Young & the Restless fans did not recognize Cane either. The last time he was on this soap opera he was older with an Austrailian accent, & most of the time a piece of crap.
Now, Cane is a billionaire somehow & wants Lily back, along with acquiring Chancellor Industries from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Out of nowhere, Cane wants to retreat back to Genoa City. Lily Winters, Victor Newman, & Young & the Restless fans are not having it. Who is this guy? How did he acquire his wealth? Finally, where is his illegitimate offspring he produced producing the last freaking straw for his marriage to Lily?
