Jack Abbott Collapses Without Warning at Society
At Jabot, Jack Abbott tells Diane Jenkins and Billy that Patty is still on the loose, and Kyle Abbott reports security checks his ID walking in. When Patty Williams calls, she insists she holds no grudge and has no plans to come after the family, since she claims she is leaving the country for good.
Diane’s audible scoff nearly makes Patty hang up, but Jack Abbott asks to see her one more time before she goes. She admits they could have been magical together, then ends the call without agreeing to meet. Diane refuses to believe a word of it, certain Patty has already broken into their house.
Later at Society, Kyle, Billy, Diane, and Jack Abbott confirm they are moving forward with their plan to draw Patty into the open. Mid-conversation, Jack suddenly grabs his stomach and doubles over, and everyone starts screaming for help as his eyes roll back.
The scene cuts away before anyone learns what causes it, leaving Genoa City with zero answers and one very sudden medical emergency on its hands.

Nick Newman and Marie Kirkland Say Their Goodbyes
At rehab, Nick Newman and Adam Newman debate whether Nick should push for an early release, which Adam thinks is a terrible idea. When Marie Kirkland joins them, Adam steps aside so she and Nick can talk privately.
Marie thanks Nick for the lawyer and for trying to take the blame for a man he barely knows, admitting his group-therapy talk about getting sober for loved ones inspires her own recovery plans. She reveals she is leaving Genoa City to live near her parents, where she can find real support.
They share an intense kiss and a promise to stay clean before she walks out for good, leaving Nick to admit to his therapist how much sadder this feels than he expects.
Matt Clark’s Scheme Blows Up in His Face
At the Riverbank Motel, Matt Clark imagines his planned rescue of Phyllis Summers going horribly wrong, picturing himself accidentally killing her with a botched Heimlich while Sharon Newman blames him for it. Rattled, he texts Phyllis that the plan is off.
At the GCAC, Phyllis rushes out on Sharon the second she gets that text, leaving her friend suspicious that this sudden emergency somehow ties back to Matt. Phyllis storms into his room demanding answers, and Matt fumbles for an excuse.
That is when Phyllis spots a pair of sunglasses that are definitely not hers, catches a familiar perfume in the air, and demands to know exactly who is in that room while she is gone. In a nearby alley, Patty Williams sits with her own unrelated doubts, wondering if Jack actually means what he told her or if he is playing her.
Across town, Victoria Newman and Nikki Newman fill in Victor Newman on Nikki’s new Vibrante role, and he insists he has no interest in any fresh Young and the Restless spoilers drama over a rivalry with Jack.
