Just when Chloe Mitchell finally let up on complaining about Adam Newman to anyone who would listen, she’s about to reboot her Adam hate & kick it into high gear.
Summer, Chelsea, Sally, & Chloe could only last so long working together at Marchetti, but didn’t everyone bet on Chloe Mitchell being the first one out? Thanks to Adam Newman, Chloe still has a job. Let’s unpack…
Applause at Society for The Most Boring Couple in GC
Just in time for the end of the week on Young & the Restless, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes an appearance at Society per Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) request. For a few moments, Chelsea thought Adam was requesting her hand in marriage, but it was just a job opportunity. They held hands, chatted, & were slightly less boring than they had been since they moved back in together on the Newman compound.
The guests of Society clapped. They seriously clapped. There was applause. Almost nothing happened. Chelsea was offered a COO position. Who hasn’t been offered a COO position in Genoa City on Y&R?
Independent Adam, Without a COO or Assistant, Now Desperate
Adam Newman returned to Newman Media since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was relieved of her duties & her good friend Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bergman) was covering for her. He returned to Newman Media without an assistant or a COO. Adam had limited support & is supposedly knocking it out of the park since he was reinstalled as CEO. Now, out of nowhere, he wants his redo-roommate/girlfriend/ex-wife/co-parent to be his COO at Newman Media.
How? Why? For Young & the Restless fans hoping for Adam & Chelsea to break up again, again, this is likely their chance.
Chloe Mitchell’s BFF Round Robin, Chelsea vs Sally
Obviously, Chelsea will be out, & Sally will be Chloe’s #1 BFF again. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) finally eased up on her Adam Newman bashing even though her most often BFF, Chelsea, has moved back in with Adam & they are together again, yet again. Now that Chelsea will be spending almost every minute of every hour with Adam, Chloe Mitchell’s mind is going to blow. Not only is Chelsea doubling down on her latest Adam Newman reboot, she’s leaving her be at Marchetti.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) best carve out some time for her back-again-on-&-off-again BFF Chloe because she’s back again. Sally & Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) have been bonding & their friendship is exciting for Young & the Restless fans, so hopefully they can carry on. Fortunately, Audra Charles has plenty on both her personal & professional plates, so Sally squeezing in some coffee talks with Chloe should not be an issue, as long as Chloe can mix in some chat that doesn’t have anything to do with Adam Newman.
