Audra Charles Held the Door Open and Claire Newman Walked Right Past It

Audra Charles held the door open at Society for Claire Newman recently and declared the feud so last year. Truce, peace, and prosperity. That was the energy Audra was putting out. Very magnanimous, very unbothered, very Audra. The problem is that when one person in a feud has to announce it is over, it usually means the other person has not gotten the memo yet. Claire Newman has not gotten the memo.

Claire Used Holden to Get Dirt on Audra and That Is Not Truce Energy

Let’s start with Holden Novak. Claire made a deliberate choice to pursue someone who is the opposite of Kyle Abbott, and then used that same someone to dig up dirt on Audra Charles. That is not moving on. That is not peace and prosperity. That is Claire Newman running a very transparent operation while telling herself it is something else entirely.

Audra saw right through it and she made it very clear that she cannot be with a partner who is not honest with her. Holden got caught in the middle of Claire’s obsession and probably did not see it coming but at least he got laid.

Audra Charles Does Not Seduce. She Does Not Have To.

Here is where Audra absolutely won the room. When Claire’s obsession became impossible to ignore, Audra delivered one of the best lines of the week. Women who look like her do not have to seduce anyone. Full stop. Claire came loaded with accusations and suspicions and Audra essentially laughed the whole thing off. She would rather not think about Claire ever again. The confidence in that delivery was everything. Audra is not threatened by Claire. Audra is annoyed by Claire, which is somehow even more devastating.

Kyle Abbott Is Watching It All From the Sidelines

None of this is happening in a vacuum. Kyle Abbott is the common thread running through all of it. Claire’s obsession with Audra, Audra’s complicated history with Kyle, and the breakfast scene with Kyle and Claire that carries its own loaded energy. Kyle observing Audra declare herself done with both of them is exactly the kind of moment that tells fans this story is far from over. Then there is Holden, who walked into this situation thinking he was pursuing Claire and ended up being a pawn in someone else’s game entirely.

Is Claire Newman Really Over Audra?

Audra Charles called it. She and Claire’s feud is SO last year, but Claire Newman’s behavior tells a completely different story. Using Holden to dig up dirt, inserting herself into Audra’s orbit, and doing all of this while Kyle watches from nearby is not the behavior of someone who has moved on.
