Young and the Restless Comings and Goings Bring a Husband Who Doesn’t Survive the Day
Genoa City’s newest arrival didn’t last the episode. Tommy Walker debuted as Logan Kirkland, Marie Kirkland‘s estranged husband, on Friday, September 4, confronting her in rehab before the same episode ended with Marie confessing to police. This is a debut for Walker, not a recast: Logan has not appeared on the canvas before this week.

A Familiar Party Planner Books Genoa City’s Next Big Event
Jai Rodriguez resurfaces as party planner Pietro, this time conferring with Billy and Sally on a big decision about their wedding on Tuesday, September 8. Rodriguez first appeared as Pietro to arrange Nikki’s birthday in May 2025, then returned to organize Danny and Christine’s wedding festivities in November 2025, so this is a confirmed return with real history behind it.
A New Face Checks Into the Rehab Facility
Genoa City’s rehab wing also has a new arrival. Kyra Selman lands an all-new role there this week. Selman previously played a morgue assistant on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2024, but that credit is on a different show entirely, so this is a debut on Young and the Restless specifically.
A Kiss Goodbye
Vivica A. Fox is wrapping her current run as Stephanie Simmons for now. Fox, who returned to Genoa City in April 2026 after more than 30 years away, shared an “until next time” goodbye with her Y&R glam squad and castmates over the weekend before heading to Shelter Island, New York, to film the Netflix drama Women Like Us through October 1. The timing lines up with Monday’s episode, where Stephanie shares a kiss with the doctor she’s been paired with all summer, a moment that plays a lot like a send-off now that Fox is stepping away.
