Damian Kane dead-for-what on Young & the Restless? He just got here. Sure, he came in as another man, but still, he has not been around long. Damian’s mother, Amy, is going to be devastated, along with his new half-brother, Nate Hastings.

Damian is in Cane’s Freezer & Doesn’t Need to Be

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) ordered his people to put the suddenly deceased Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) in one of his freezers. What in the actual hell? The actual hell is that Cane keeps playing up that no one supposedly can leave the premises, nor can they have any contact with the outside world. Young & the Restless now know, as per Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), that it is possible to leave & to have contact with the outside world. Amanda questions why Cane hasn’t called in the local authorities since Damian was killed & no one likes Cane’s answer.

Cane is a Funny Guy Now… Chance the Most Thorough Detective

Cane Ashby has to be kidding everyone. Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is the most thorough detective ever?? Right… Not so much, Cane Ashby, not so much. He’s actually horrible at his job. Chance is a nice man, nice looking, actually everything that is nice he is, but he is not even an ok detective. He actually sucks at his job. Cane only inviting Chance Chancellor to his big ‘Dumas Reveal Party’ for his detective skills is a joke. Now there’s a dead guy in a freezer & no one knows who did it, supposedly.

Life in Genoa City Post Damian Kane, Cancer is Back

Damian’s mother, Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford), will be devastated when she learns he’s been killed & will be even more upset when she learns his killer has not been held accountable. Amy just reunited with her son & has now been going through cancer treatment that is actually working really well. She’s agreed to relocate to Genoa City from Chicago & has plans to live with her son Damian, after he finds them a home in town. Well, that’s shot now. Damian literally got stabbed in the back.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has been a comforting new friend to Amy, but has been preoccupied in France chasing after Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Will she be the one to have to deliver this news in Genoa City to Nate & Amy? Or, will whatever she has going on with Kyle break her & Nate up before or shortly thereafter returning to Genoa City from France? Regardless, Amy will struggle. Will she continue to live with Nate for the time being? Or, will she return to Chicago? Will her decision on where to live depend on whether her cancer bounces back? Will Young & the Restless fans be saying goodbye to yet another character?
