The Young and the Restless
YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS SPOILERS – TUESDAY, JUNE 16: Diane Jenkins Wakes In A Place That Looks Like Home And Feels Like A Trap
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Jenkins meets Patty’s mysterious partner in crime as Jack Abbott hunts for his missing wife.
DIANE JENKINS COMES FACE TO FACE WITH PATTY’S MYSTERY ACCOMPLICE
TL;DR: On Tuesday’s Young and the Restless, Diane Jenkins meets Patty Williams’ partner in crime, the mysterious Dr. Laurence Markham, while Jack Abbott gathers his closest allies and goes on the hunt to bring his missing wife home.
Diane Jenkins Meets The Man Behind The Curtain
Diane Jenkins has clawed her way out of prison, a faked death, and an entire town that wanted her buried, so it takes a special kind of trouble to throw her off balance. Tuesday hands her exactly that. She comes to in surroundings that mirror the comforts of home, and the wrongness of it crawls up her spine long before she can name what is off.
Then the door opens. The man who steps through is not a rescuer, and he is not Patty Williams either. He is the partner working alongside her, a doctor by the name of Laurence Markham, played by daytime newcomer Jere Burns. For a woman used to being the smartest schemer in any room in Genoa City, coming face to face with a player she did not see coming is a brand new kind of unsettling.
What makes this so deliciously dangerous is that Diane Jenkins has no map for this one. Every enemy she has outmaneuvered before, she knew. This time the threat has a fresh face and an agenda she cannot read, and that uncertainty is exactly where this story gets its teeth.

Jack Abbott Refuses To Sit And Wait
Jack Abbott is not a man who handles helplessness well, and with his wife nowhere to be found, helpless is the last thing he intends to be. Tuesday he pulls every sharp mind he trusts into one room and turns worry into a plan. If the people meant to find Diane cannot move fast enough, the Abbott patriarch will lead the charge himself.
The pressure on him is brutal, and it is personal. Patty has been circling, needling Jack with questions he cannot answer and taunts he cannot stomach, and the strain is written all over him. Pulling his allies together is his way of taking back control, of refusing to let a tormentor dictate the pace while the woman he loves is out there somewhere. When Jack stops asking nicely and starts running the search, the people who took her would be wise to move quickly, because a determined Abbott on a mission is a force that does not stop.
Patty has a partner, Diane is trapped, and Jack is on the warpath. Who do you think Dr. Markham really is? Head to our Facebook page and drop your theory!
