Seriously, Every Party is Better with Phyllis Summers

Finding one Young & the Restless fan who thought Nikki Newman’s Birthday had a point is like finding Bigfoot. It can’t be done. Not only was it pointless, but nothing happened for soap opera fans other than Cole Howard having a relapse of his coughing. He wasn’t even brought to the hospital. If only Phyllis Summers were there to throw drinks or fake her death…

Phyllis Summers Supposedly in D.C., Seeing Dumas

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) supposedly left Genoa City with her rebooted BFF Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to meet the infamous Aristotle Dumas, but what’s the status? Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) chose to bring baby momma 1 of 2, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), to his mother’s pointless birthday party at the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge. Now, with Phyllis away or not, almost anyone who has uttered the word ‘Dumas’ has received an invitation to his private party on Friday the 13th, yet this month. What if Phyllis was in town & was Nick’s #1 for Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) pointless birthday party? It would have been a lot more fun, for sure!

Sharon Newman, Already Nick Newman’s +1 to Dumas

Dumas this, Dumas that… Young & the Restless fans have had a freaking enough of this man being talked about without being revealed. Bring on Friday the 13th already, & this better be good.

Sharon Newman is pretty & all, but doesn’t make a splash quite like Phyllis Summers. Nick has already asked Sharon to join him in France to attend Dumas’ private party. Does he know something no one else knows? He only spends time with Sharon or Phyllis. Has Dumas already locked Phyllis in to spice up his party in France?

Cole Howard Coughing Wasn’t Enough, Insert Phyllis

A party is not a party in Genoa City without Phyllis Summers. Not a Young & the Restless fan can forget the Newman Media launch party at the Grand Phoenix. It was dynamite. Also, Phyllis Summers & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) threw drinks at one another. It was awesome, great entertainment, etc. Also, there was that one time Phyllis faked her death when everyone most important in Genoa City was celebrating Genoa City, in line with 50 years of Y&R.

Every party without Phyllis is a snoozefest. Remember the Chancellor Winters launch party? Phyllis was out of town & had then Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) put it on at the Grand Phoenix. It was about as pointless as Nikki Newman’s pointless birthday party. Winters, Inc. is now pointless in itself.

If anything is ever the least bit boring in Genoa City, add Phyllis.
