From a Film Set to Forever
Hunter King has always known how to make an entrance. The actress, best known to daytime fans as Summer Newman on Young and the Restless, made one of the most beautiful entrances of her life recently, walking down the aisle in Tuscany, Italy, in a Sarah Seven wedding gown paired with Betsey Johnson bridal shoes, bouquet in hand, heading straight toward the love of her life.
That love is filmmaker Chris Copier, who first swept Hunter off her feet on the set of the 2022 film Give Me Your Eyes, where he served as assistant director. The couple got engaged in October 2024, and on Valentine’s Day 2026, they made it official in an intimate legal ceremony in Studio City, California, followed by a Medieval Times celebration that is every bit as wonderfully chaotic as it sounds.
The Tuscany gathering was their big celebration, an intimate affair with family and friends, including Hunter’s sister Joey King, at the La Torre Sulla Via Francigena venue. The whole event was covered exclusively by The Knot, and it is stunning from start to finish.

The Moment That Made Her Cry the Best Tears
Hunter shared her feelings about the celebration through The Knot’s exclusive coverage, and her words are genuinely gorgeous. She described looking over at her best friend officiating, laughing through tears, then looking out at the faces of everyone who had traveled all the way to Italy to be with them. And then across at Chris.
“The overwhelming gratitude, joy, and love I felt in that instant is impossible to put into words,” she said. “It was the most magical moment I have ever experienced.”

Every Detail Was Perfect
The Tuscany celebration had everything. An Italian villa. A gown by Sarah Seven. Betsey Johnson bridal shoes. White blooms. Sisters by her side. And a groom who has been showing up for Hunter King in the most consistent and loving ways since day one.
Daytime fans who watched Hunter light up Genoa City as the sharp, complicated, occasionally infuriating Summer Newman will find a lot to love in the woman she is offscreen. She is funny, warm, and clearly head over heels. And Chris Copier, for his part, is exactly the kind of person you root for someone to find.
