Lily ‘Unannounced’ Winters & Her Nose, All Over GC
Has Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) lost her damn cell phone? If not, why can’t she use it? Why is Lily running all over Genoa City dropping by everyone’s home who has a home in GC unannounced? Speaking of homes in Genoa City, why doesn’t Lily ever spend time inside her home? Her penthouse is across the hallway from her cousin Nate Hastings’s (Sean Dominic) penthouse. Perhaps she should spend some time in it making some phone calls or working from home. Does Lily Winters care about anyone or anything but herself? What happened to the sweet Lily Winters Young & the Restless fans grew to adore over the years?
Trusting Victor Newman Out of Boredom, Lily on Y&R
It’s seriously like Lily Winters just moved to Genoa City, has no idea how Victor Newman works, & hasn’t yet found a place to live. What is this woman doing right now? Has she lost her damn mind? Or, is she trying to compete with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for the most entitled young idiot in Genoa City?
Lily Winters is obsessed with Nate’s new half-brother Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) & not at all in a seductive way that this soap opera could use for its fans. Miss Lily hasn’t had anything to do with a man since her most recent ex, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), cheated on her with the now deceased Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
The only thing Lily has accomplished is taking a page out of Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) book & has been putting her nose & her opinions where they do not belong. Lily has now gotten to the point where unannounced visits to the Newman ranch are normal to her. She’s acquiring information from The Mustache who just screwed her over really bad in business & is doubling down on whatever he shares with her.
Nate Doesn’t Work Either, but Is the Voice of Reason
Like so many in Genoa City, Nate Hastings has been screwed over by Victor Newman in business. The difference between him & his cousin Lily is that he hasn’t forgotten. Nate knows exactly how Victor Newman works & will not be buying anything he’s selling. Nate hasn’t been doing anything for Winters, Inc. lately in addition to Lily, but at least he has purpose. What he is doing for Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford) & Damian is totally commendable. Lily Winters at this point is simply an embarrassment. Perhaps she should date Kyle Abbott the next time he’s available.
