MARIAH COPELAND SPIRALS AS IAN WARD PUSHES HER TOWARD A HORRIFYING PLAN

Mariah Copeland Is Spiraling Into Darkness

The Young and the Restless fans, we need to talk about Mariah Copeland because this is getting SCARY. She’s holed up in a motel room, convinced she’s a terrible person who destroys everything she touches and doesn’t deserve Tessa or Aria. The self-loathing is intense, and it’s about to get worse.

As Mariah doodles on a notepad, her thoughts drift to Dominic, the son she carried as a surrogate for Abby and Devon. She picks up her phone, calls Abby, hears her voice… and hangs up without saying a word. CHILLING.

That’s when Ian Ward appears. And before you ask, yes, this is the same Ian Ward who terrorized the Newmans for years. He’s playing mind games with Mariah, telling her that “thinking time is over” and pushing her toward some kind of plan they’ve apparently already discussed. Ian Ward insists he’s there to be her “guide” and help her, but we all know better.

Mariah tries to resist, saying maybe it’s not the right time. But Ian Ward is relentless. He calls her “selfless and brave” for being a surrogate and says Dominic was “the perfect gift.” He’s clearly manipulating her feelings about the child she gave up. When Mariah Copeland finally snaps and says she’s NOT going through with this, Ian Ward promises that “life will be better on the other side.”

Whatever this plan is, it involves Dominic, and we are TERRIFIED.

Abby and Devon Have No Idea What’s Coming

Meanwhile, Abby and Devon are living their best lives, completely oblivious to the storm brewing in that motel room. Abby takes Dominic for hot cocoa after skating, telling him that even though he didn’t grow in her tummy, she loves him and thinks he’s cool. It’s ADORABLE and also making us NERVOUS given what Mariah is plotting.

Devon shows up and praises Dominic for getting back up after falling on the ice. He tells his son he’s going to be his coach. This happy little family has no clue that Mariah is spiraling and fixating on the child she carried for them.

At Society, Devon tells Nate he’s glad Lily turned her back on Cane after everything he’s done. The brothers chat about Nate being single and whether he’s still hung up on Audra. Nate insists he’s not looking for romance, but admits Amy is staying with him and he’s worried about her.

Sally Spectra Makes Her Move

Sally is DONE waiting for Billy to choose her over Chancellor. She meets Audra at Crimson Lights and drops some major news: she’s assembling a team she can count on WITHOUT Billy, and that means convincing Jill to let her bring Audra on board at Abbott Communications.

Audra is shocked but thrilled. She tells Sally this would be saving her life. Sally says after everything they’ve been through, she has the right to choose her own staff. But first, she has to call Jill and make it happen. We love to see women supporting women in business!

Audra Begs Amy for Forgiveness

Speaking of Audra, Young and the Restless shows she’s trying to make amends with Amy after everything that went down with Nate. She apologizes for her lies and says she’d do anything to earn forgiveness.

Amy isn’t handing out pity, but she does admit she misses Audra and the trust they had. Things get awkward when Holden walks in and Amy immediately suspects Audra is hiding something about their LA connection. Audra insists there’s nothing to tell, but Amy isn’t buying it. She tells Audra she has to EARN forgiveness and leaves.

Holden reminds Audra about their deal to keep quiet about LA. He wonders if she’s only holding up her end because she hasn’t run into Claire lately. The tension is THICK.

Nate and Amy Bond Over Broken Trust

At Society, Amy tells Nate about her run-in with Audra. She admits part of her wants to let Audra back in, and asks if Nate feels the same way. He says maybe, if Audra could change how she treats people, but he’s not looking for romance.

These two are clearly forming their own bond over being burned by people they trusted.
