Nikki Newman Confesses to Jack That Her Heart Won’t Let Her Leave Victor

Well, Young and the Restless fans, we all knew this was coming! Nikki Newman shows up at the Abbott mansion to deliver some devastating news to Jack Abbott, and it’s written all over her face before she even says a word. Remember when Nikki threatened to walk out on Victor if he didn’t end his war on Jabot? Yeah, about that…

Nikki Newman admits to Jack that her head was telling her to stand strong and stick by her ultimatum, but her HEART just wouldn’t cooperate! She apologizes because she knows Jack was counting on her, but she simply couldn’t stay angry at her husband. Look, we’ve watched these two for DECADES, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s that Nikki Newman will always find her way back to Victor’s side, even when he’s being absolutely insufferable!

Jack is disappointed but definitely not surprised. He figures the only thing Victor has in his heart is pure, unadulterated hatred for him. But Nikki Newman isn’t giving up entirely! She tells Jack that she’s still committed to stopping Victor from whatever attack he has planned next. She genuinely believes that Victor’s love for her will eventually win out over his hatred for Jack. That’s some OPTIMISM right there, Nikki!

Y&R fans, do you think Nikki Newman can actually stop Victor, or is Jack doomed? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com with your predictions!

Victor Demands Michael’s Complete Loyalty With a Loaded Christmas Gift

Over at Society, Victor summons Michael Baldwin for a little chat. He wants to know what the Abbotts are planning since he just ran into Billy and Jack, and those two were acting like they had something up their sleeves. Michael points out that this shouldn’t be surprising since Jabot means just as much to Jack as Newman Enterprises means to Victor!

Victor scoffs at the comparison because HE built his empire while Jack merely inherited his. Classic Victor! He wants Michael to go behind the scenes at Jabot and dig up whatever scheme they’re cooking up. Michael agrees uncomfortably, but then Victor calls him out for not following through on their recent plans. What’s going on with him?

Michael admits he hasn’t been sure where they stand since Victor keeps testing his loyalty. He asks if Victor thinks he’s just a blunt instrument to use against his enemies. That’s when Victor pulls out a Christmas gift with some SERIOUS strings attached! It’s a genuine Roman coin featuring Antoninus Pius, and Michael is genuinely impressed. Victor reminds him that on the day Ian Ward held them at gunpoint, Michael stayed by his side. By accepting this coin, Michael must understand that Victor demands his COMPLETE loyalty. Can Victor trust him? Michael nods and says of course. But can Victor REALLY trust him when Diane has already been working on Michael behind the scenes?

Audra Charles Is Done Playing Nice After Claire’s Water Attack

Meanwhile, Audra Charles drops by to visit Sally Spectra, and Sally gives her a belated Christmas gift that has Audra genuinely touched! It’s a designer handbag she’s been eyeing forever, and Audra can’t believe someone did something so thoughtful for her. These two are friendship GOALS!

But the warm fuzzies don’t last long because Audra is FUMING about her run-in with Claire Newman. She tells Sally that Claire threw a drink in her face at Society, and now it’s time to put that “bitch” in her place once and for all! Sally thinks Audra should just let it go and avoid Claire in the future, but Audra is tired of getting knocked around. She’s planning her REVENGE!

Things get interesting when Holden Novak meets up with Claire and warns her that he’s ready to tell her everything about what happened between him and Audra in LA. This clearly rattles Audra when she confronts Holden at Crimson Lights later! She reminds him that he has MORE to lose than she does if he opens his mouth. What exactly went down in LA between these two? Holden doesn’t say a word as he heads out to the patio to talk with Claire, leaving us all DYING to know their secret!

Drop your thoughts in the comments! Will Michael stay loyal to Victor, or will Diane flip him? And what is Audra and Holden’s big LA secret?
