Happy New Year, Young and the Restless Fans!! Please let this year be better for everyone, including Phyllis Summers. Phyllis is a vibrant and ambitious woman. However, since she sold the Grand Phoenix, she’s without purpose. She’s unemployed and lives at the Genoa City Athletic Club. All she does is dress her best to do nothing. It’s time to make Phyllis Summers great again!
Sharon Newman Has It All
Has Sharon (Sharon Case) forgotten about her new BFF, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)? It seems she’s forgotten about her daughter, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), so there’s that. Yes, she’s been caught up with her rapist, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who attempted to kill her son, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), because he’s sleeping with Matt’s wife, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Fair enough, but still. Mariah is now MIA since she checked herself out of the clinic in Boston. So, it’s doubtful she is doing anything at Cassidy 1st.
Gee, who’s smart and motivated in Genoa City and needs a job? Could it be Sharon’s new BFF Phyllis??

Sharon’s Company, Sharon’s Apartment… All Vacant
For the love of everything in soap opera world, can Sharon hire Phyllis at Cassidy 1st, and give her a place to live? Like, seriously, Sharon’s apartment has been vacant for how long? With all of the Genoa City residents living at the GCAC, Sharon Newman should be able to take the highest bid to get her apartment rented above Crimson Lights. Or, she could extend a month-to-month lease to her new BFF, Phyllis.
Sharon is BIZ-ZAY. She owns the coffee house. She owns Cassidy 1st. Oh, and two of her children are in dire straits.
Guess who is not busy… Phyllis FREAKING Summers. This woman needs a place to live, a place to work, and purpose in life.
Sharon is the answer to ALL of Phyllis’s problems in Genoa City on Young and the Restless.
