Y&R spoilers reveal Phyllis Summers may turn to ex-husband Nick Newman for financial backing as she plots her next business venture with son Daniel. Will Nick’s loyalty to Sharon affect his decision?
The Bank of Nick Newman, The Only Place Phyllis Has Credit
Phyllis Summers finally said what Young & the Restless fans have been saying out loud since she sold the Grand Phoenix & paid Nick Newman back… She needs purpose & has never been better professionally since she was running that hotel.
Now she & her son Daniel are entertaining the idea of working together & creating something new, however, they’ve both been unemployed for a while & they will need funding. Perhaps it’s The Bank of Nick Newman to the rescue for Phyllis & her son.
Phyllis Paid Up & Sally Did Not, The State of The Bank of Nick Newman
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has rescued Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) many times, but not as many as his most favorite ex-wife Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). However, Nick did come to Phyllis Summers’ rescue in a big way when she needed financial help when she owned & operated the Grand Phoenix. Phyllis took a loan from Nick Newman & she said she would pay him back & she did. She sold her hotel to Chancellor-Winters when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) handed her a fat check.
Phyllis immediately paid Nick back & Lily Winters wasted her investment & is currently unemployed herself while the Grand Phoenix sits empty & useless in Genoa City. If only Lily could have kept the Grand Phoenix open & hired Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to reboot its interior design when Sally went in alone with a loan from Nick to reboot her career. Perhaps if Sally Spectra could have landed the Grand Phoenix opportunity, Sharon Newman’s home & the Abbott Estate, specifically their couches & living room decor, Sally could have paid by Nick Newman too.
Sharon Didn’t Kill Heather, Nick to Back Up Phyllis Next
Nick Newman has been doing everything in his Newman family power to help his favorite ex-wife & the mother of three of his children, Sharon Newman. For now, his second favorite ex-wife Phyllis Summers has been led to believe that Sharon killed her son Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) love of his life, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) since Sharon confessed on her own.
Well, that’s all about to change… Sharon didn’t kill Heather, she will get her mental health in order again, & Nick will be able to help another one of his kids’ mothers, Phyllis Summers.
Before Heather died Phyllis already needed a massive reboot. Sharon confessing to killing Heather didn’t help after Phyllis called it & no one believed her, not even her daughter Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) boyfriend at the time Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd). Nick Newman will always be loyal to Sharon to a fault, but he isn’t opposed to helping Phyllis here & there. If Phyllis can stay away from Billy Boy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest offer, Nick Newman might be getting his checkbook out again on Y&R to help ole Red.
