Claire’s Emotional Turmoil After Jordan’s Ordeal

Claire Grace might be okay physically after that Jordan nightmare, but emotionally, it is another story. She is worried that this setback will derail all the progress she’s made to put Jordan Howard’s abuse out of her mind.

Claire wasn’t part of Jordan’s crazy scheme, but she blames herself for Harrison Abbott’s kidnapping. Summer Newman definitely won’t be offering Claire an olive branch any time soon. However, Nick understands Claire got caught in the crossfire and is an innocent party to Jordan’s latest attack.

Victoria Leans on Nick for Support

Victoria has been holding it together, afraid to talk about her feelings to anyone. She decides to confide in Nick, someone she knows she can trust. Victoria admits she is worried about how Jordan’s kidnapping of Claire will affect her daughter’s fragile mental state.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Victoria is beside herself worrying about Nikki Newman, who, at this point, is missing in action.

Jack’s Relapse and Diane’s Reaction

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott wakes up to the realization that he went off the deep end with Nikki. Popping pills, mixing booze, staying out all night – classic self-destructive Jack move, right? The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack feels a panic attack coming as he realizes he stayed out all night and kept Diane Jenkins in the dark.

Jack knows that Diane will not be happy about his relapse. She told him that being Nikki’s sponsor was a bad idea. Diane thought he was too close to the situation and couldn’t be objective about Nikki. It turns out Diane was right. Instead of helping Nikki maintain her sobriety, Mrs. Newman pulled him into her madness, and he had a night of booze and pill-popping.

When Jack arrives home after his drug and alcohol-fueled night, Diane will explode. She will be relieved Jack is okay, but she will want answers.

The Possibility of Nikki Going to Rehab

Back at the ranch, Victor Newman will have questions for Nikki. He tried calling her multiple times, and she ignored his calls and messages. Victor will give Nikki another alcohol lecture, which she probably will cry and apologize for her behavior.

It’s getting to the point where someone needs to recommend rehab for Nikki as she’s dragging Jack down with her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor is furious that Jack joined in and didn’t call Nikki’s family. Victor hopes Jack’s collapse and relapse are the wake-up calls that Nikki needs. Victor thinks it’s time for Nikki to get professional help and not depend on Jack for support.
