TL;DR: This Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead has Billy Abbott and Cane Ashby butting heads over Jill Abbott, Sally Spectra quietly working against Billy on that same issue, Adam Newman getting talked into an appearance he’s dreading, and Audra Charles admitting she’s never really had a friend before Sally.
Billy Abbott and Cane Ashby Go Head-To-Head
This Y&R Canadian Day-Ahead opens with Cane Ashby catching Billy Abbott at Crimson Lights, and what starts as small talk about the wedding turns into something a lot more pointed. Cane pushes Billy to make peace with his mother before the big day, and Billy shuts it down without hesitation — Jill’s out of his life, and that’s final, as far as he’s concerned.
Cane’s not backing off that easily. He knows firsthand what it costs to run out of time with a parent, and he tells Billy exactly that. It doesn’t land. Billy walks away locked in, leaving Cane convinced this is a decision Billy’s going to regret — and Wednesday hints he might be right sooner than anyone expects.

Over at The Shadow Room, Sally Spectra tells Audra Charles that Chelsea’s getting the bridesmaid ask, and Audra’s stunned Sally’s willing to let bygones be bygones. But the real twist drops when Billy arrives: Sally’s already told Jill she’s welcome at the wedding, no permission required. If Billy’s got an issue with that, Sally makes it clear — that’s a conversation for him and his mother, not her.
Adam Newman Gets Roped Into A Truce He Doesn’t Believe In
Meanwhile, Chelsea breaks the bridesmaid news to Adam Newman, who wants nothing to do with a wedding where he knows he’s not wanted. Chelsea pushes anyway, and Adam finally agrees to show up and behave — though his gut is still telling him this marriage is heading for disaster.
