In the Young and Restless recap, Daniel and Phyllis chat at a table in the jazz lounge. Phyllis mentions that her new job seems uncertain. They talk about how things are going between Daniel and Lily.

Daniel admits that seeing his ex Heather recently threw him for a loop and he has some regrets. Phyllis advises Daniel to make amends with Heather, just like she is trying to make amends with him.

But Daniel doesn’t see it that way. He accuses Phyllis of pushing him back toward Heather because Phyllis doesn’t like Lily. Phyllis claims she just has a fondness for Heather.
