Claire’s Parents & Grandmother Like Kyle, What’s the Problem?
Has Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) met Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? Of course she has. It wasn’t long after Claire tried to kill the Newmans in Oregon with the help of her Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) that she was forgiven & is now the Newman family favorite without any end in sight. Also, she grew up studying the Newman family & learned to hate them growing up under Aunt Jordan’s thumb. Claire knows Victor hates all of the male Abbotts yet she was not shy about sticking up for both her new boyfriend Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Young & the Restless fans are still wondering how Claire was not at least threatened verbally by Victor Newman &/or even slapped. Will Claire be the first Newman to put & keep Victor Newman in his place?
Jack Abbott is Okay, Grandma & He Are Close Friends
Whoa! Claire seriously said that to Victor Newman to his face at a short distance inside his home & did not get slapped or even yelled at & Y&R fans are stunned.
Victor Newman can hardly go a day without mentioning the night at the GCAC that his darling wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) & Jack Abbott spent together where they both almost died. Victor has been bouncing around Genoa City spreading the tale of how Jack Abbott was irresponsible & almost killed the woman he loves & how Jack Abbott will pay. Claire mentions nonchalantly to Victor that Grandma is friends with Jack & Victor manages to not only hold back from verbally abusing Claire but also provides his age-old Victor Newman cringe face. As fast & nonchalantly she mentioned Nikki & Jack’s connection, she mentioned how her parents Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) are fond of Kyle. Again, Victor Newman holds back & Young & the Restless fans can’t even tell that is screaming on the inside. Has Claire just outsmarted The Almighty Victor Newman?
The Newmans Don’t Know What Y&R Fans Know…
Claire keeping Victor in his lane is both impressive & cute, however, Y&R fans know that Aunt Jordan is out of prison & is out & about with her friend Ian Ward (Ray Wise). If these two extreme troublemakers weren’t out & about & were locked up as they should be, fans wouldn’t worry, but something smells like trouble coming soon for the Newman family. Will it turn out that Claire is still working with her Aunt Jordan? Her relationship with Victor seems too good to be true on Y&R.
