Y&R Spoilers: Shocking No-Shows at Devon & Abby’s Wedding – Adam Snubbed Despite Victor’s Ranch Gift, Sally’s Design Drama & Tucker’s Suspicious Absence Raise Questions

Y&R’s Most Missed at Abby & Devon’s Dull Wedding

The guest list for Abby & Devon’s wedding was quite the hodge-podge. Along with the overlooked guests, there also were a few blasts from the past who made an appearance, yet this event was still pretty dull.   In fact, if one of the missed guests had not have caused a car accident near the Newman Ranch property, these wedding episodes would have been a total snooze fest for Young & the Restless fans during November sweeps.

Abby Walks Down the Aisle, Who She’s Wearing Not Announced

Apparently, Abby Newman now Winters’ (Melissa Ordway) friendship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lasted as long as it took for her wedding gown to be designed by “That Dress Woman” at Society during just one episode of Young & the Restless. Recently out of nowhere, Abby invited her “BFF” Sally Spectra to design her wedding dress on-demand. It was news to Young & the Restless fans that Abby has “always” loved Sally’s designs.

Regardless of the strength of their friendship, Abby looked stunning. Sally Spectra does do nice work, as she did with Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding gown for her wedding in Tuscany to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Only, Sally with the help of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) got to make an appearance in Tuscany & that appearance ended with a hug between Victoria & Sally. Victoria loved her gown as did Abby, but where is the hug action between Abby & Sally like Victoria & Sally? Victoria never asked for Sally’s help, but Abby did.

Speaking of Adam Newman, he was not in attendance either. What in the fresh hell is this about? Adam was just offered the “Junior Newman Ranch” by the Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) yet he wasn’t on the guest list for his half-sister Abby’s wedding. How does this make any sense? Victor would have even allowed Adam to attend with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) on his arm.

Devon’s Bio Mother & Sister Attend, Bio Dad Tucker MIA

Where on earth did Devon’s bio mom & sister come from & how did they arrive in Genoa City at the new Newman Rach for his wedding to Abby? Sure, Devon’s mom Harmony Hamilton (Chene Lawson) made it back to Genoa City to celebrate 50 years of Young & the Restless but left town almost as fast as she arrived. As for Devon’s bio-sister Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott), Young & the Restless fans haven’t seen her for years. While Ana is absolutely stunning & a lovely musician, wouldn’t an appearance by Devon’s bio dad Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) have gone over far better with soap opera fans?

Does Harmony &/or Ana have any future in Genoa City? Tucker has roots in town & an endless list of unfinished business with his family, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), & Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Nick Newman Had (1) Job, Keeping Sharon Close on Y&R

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had one job, & that was keeping track of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Her last name is Newman, Nick tends to watch over her anyway, she’s beyond nuts right now & has been for months, & lives on the Newman property. What reason would there be for Nick Newman not to have Sharon Newman on his arm at his half-sister Abby’s wedding?

Instead, via mysterious blasts from the past who are supposed to be locked up forever & ever who also hate the Newmans, a serious car accident was manufactured to seriously hurt Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) & push Sharon to yet another level of insanity unseen by Nick Newman & Young & the Restless fans.
