At least for now, it appears that the Abbott Chancellor launch party being put on by Billy Abbott is on & Billy Boy already has a date & that date is the infamous Sally Spectra. You can bet that Phyllis Summers will be in attendance as the Abbott Chancellor COO. Launch Parties in Genoa City on Young & Restless are always better with Phyllis Summers.

The last Launch Party the Grand Phoenix hosted was the Chancellor Winters launch party. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wasn’t there & it was a snooze fest. For some reason, Phyllis had to be out of town & she had the at the time Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) run the party. The party could not have been more boring. That launch party totally set the tone for this horrible merger & its ultimate demise & separation. No Phyllis, no fun…

The best launch party on Young & the Restless by far was the Newman Media launch party put on by Phyllis Summers at the Grand Phoenix. It was an exciting event with all of the best-dressed Genoa City elite & it was Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) & Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) first date. Adam & Sally could not have been more hot & Sally interacting with Phyllis could not have been more entertaining. Drinks were thrown & words were tossed. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & Adam Newman held back their respective redheads & look at Newman Media now… it’s successful & going strong with Adam Newman back at the helm.

Abbott Chancellor Launches with Super Woman Phyllis

The timing of the Abbott Chancellor launch party definitely could be better, or Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) didn’t need to be killed off right now regardless if Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) did it or not. Phyllis is obviously affected by Heather’s sudden death & is trying to be there for her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) & his daughter Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Good thing Phyllis Summers is a superwoman of her own kind. No doubt she will be able to be supporting of her family’s sudden loss & will manage to back up Billy with the launch of Abbott Chancellor.

Venue Speculation and Expectations

The frosting on the Abbott Chancellor launch party cake is that Billy Abbott has asked Sally Spectra to attend as his date. Phyllis & Sally launching in party mode is exactly what Young & the Restless fans need right now. If only the Grand Phoenix was open to host the event. It hasn’t been revealed whether Hamilton Winters or Abbott Chancellor acquired the Grand Phoenix after the divorce so the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge might be the next logical place to host this launch party, or not? After separating from Winters will Billy Boy Abbott really want to host his launch party inside a venue named Winters? Perhaps his niece Abby can put something together for Abbott Chancellor. Her last launch party was a dud, but with Phyllis involved, there is no way this party will be boring.
