Sharon Gives Up Alcohol for Make-Believe Bipolar Meds

…& Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is buying it but for how long? After Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) & Nick’s follow-up lunch date in Chancellor Park, they naturally stopped by Crimson Lights. Apparently after Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) mother Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) suddenly died without an explanation, she’s been ungrounded & free to venture out in Genoa City for a fancy cocoa. Rightfully so… but not according to Sharon Newman.

Sharon may have given up Prosecco in the park, but her reasoning for doing so has nothing to do with the updated medication she is on for bipolar disorder. This woman isn’t taking any medication & is only avoiding alcohol as it’s her only hope of keeping herself together.

Faith and Lucy’s Unexpected Bond

Faith & Lucy Get Back Together Before Sharon’s Eyes

…& it’s sweet. Nick & Sharon’s daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is so sweet & kind-hearted. Sure, they have an age difference & being BFF at this time isn’t a good fit, but they’ve gotten to know one another & have loved ones in common. It’s 110% reasonable that Faith would want to be supportive of Lucy at this time. In fact, Faith expressed wanting to be there for Lucy to Sharon & she politely squashed that idea like a bug. Now with Nick in the loop, Sharon is not going to be able to influence Faith to stay away from Lucy.

Faith has taken a semester off of college to be home with her mother. Why can’t Faith be supportive of Lucy during this horrible time when Sharon is pretending to run Cassidy First or does whatever God knows else she does?

The Missing Dead Cameron

Dead Cameron Took a Day Off in Genoa City on Y&R

For Young & the Restless fan entertainment purposes, it was a bummer that Dead Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) didn’t make an appearance during Sharon & Nick’s picnic in Chancellor Park. There were two legitimate benches for Dead Cameron to choose from to lounge on to antagonize Sharon as he does on her couch at home. It was also surprising that Dead Cameron didn’t pop into Crimson Lights to help Sharon deal with her daughter Faith comforting Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) daughter Lucy after Heather’s sudden death.

Investigation and Uncertainty

Sharon Newman is now forced to support her daughter supporting Lucy while Daniel Romalotti is being investigated for Heather’s Death by Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) on behalf of the GCPD. Will the walls close in or Sharon or Daniel first on Young & the Restless?
