Yes, Aunt Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was on Young & the Restless first, followed by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about 10 years later.  Traci & Sharon rarely cross paths in Genoa City, they are both queens. However, sweet Aunt Traci doesn’t get enough credit & about time she does. Aunt Traci isn’t going anywhere either.

Everyone Needs an Aunt Traci, Forever Family Back-up

Aunt Traci is even able to forgive her punk nephew Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). He’s been quite the entitled & condescending tyrant for the last few years, yet Aunt Traci politely tolerates him. Kyle even took it upon himself recently to scold Aunt Traci to her face inside the Abbott home. Traci kept her composure. Almost any other aunt would have slapped that Young man. For the most part, those who are worthy of Aunt Traci’s unconditional love are receiving it during both good & bad times, but Traci has some love tucked away to spare for those not as worthy in her path.

Aunt Traci’s Boyfriend Hynotizes Queen Sharon on Y&R

Queen Aunt Traci & Queen Sharon are still not crossing paths much, but Traci’s new boyfriend/roommate has been. Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) has been reporting to Sharon’s home with the ugliest couch in town to hypnotize her in the hope of getting to the bottom of who caused Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) accident & who killed Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom).

There’s no doubt that Traci is overwhelmingly pleased that Alan can help Sharon & will be relieved when the Truth comes out. After all, Traci’s heart is the size of Texas. Hopefully, Dr. Alan isn’t going anywhere either. Queen Traci deserves to be happy herself & to have true love. Young & the Restless fans have been suspicious that there was a twin swap when Alan’s brother Martin died. With how helpful & sincere Alan has been since he moved into the Abbott house & now has been helping Sharon, Traci Abbott should be in good shape… Finally.
