Jack’s Observation: Phyllis Needs Purpose

Jack Abbott nailed it with Phyllis in the park on Young & the Restless. She absolutely needs something to do. Genoa City’s best-dressed unemployed resident needs a freaking job, but where?

Genoa City’s Unemployed Party of Three

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) needs a job ASAP. She has nothing to do & is limited to looking stunning & stirring everyone’s pot in Genoa City. Her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) & his girlfriend Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) are also unemployed. They were all let go by Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) from Chancellor Winters. Daniel & Heather manage to stay out of trouble even though their daughter Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is a troubled teenager in progress.

Who knows what Daniel & Heather are doing if they are not working & not keeping tabs on their daughter? At least they are not stirring pots all over Genoa City like Phyllis, but will likely have something else to do when Lucy finally spirals out of control.

Why aren’t these unemployed family members brainstorming how to work together or exchange contacts to help get one another a job?

Victor Newman’s Dirty Work: A Perfect Fit for Phyllis?

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was hired at Newman Media to do Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dirty work. Yet, he does not have a COO or an assistant like his predecessor Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). The next smartest person in town to do dirty work for Victor Newman is obviously Phyllis Summers.

Adam & Phyllis have worked together in the past & even got close to some time between the sheets. The last thing Adam Newman needs right now is another lady to spend time between the sheets with, but he could use some backup at Newman Media. However, Phyllis will likely be as excited about the task of bringing down Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as Adam was. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Phyllis Summers needs purpose again before she gets into trouble again on Young & the Restless.

Billy Boy: A Potential Partnership?

Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is on the verge of something & if Victor Newman & his pawns do everything in their power he will be added to the unemployed club in Genoa City. During Phyllis’ bizarre “woman-to-woman” conversation with Lily at the GCAC bar she warned Lily of Billy & to watch her back. As previously mentioned, desperate times call for desperate measures & Phyllis Summers should have already written a book on this as she’s starred in this sequence so many times. If an opportunity to do business with Billy Abbott to save herself & him, she would have to think about it. Also, revisiting Phyllis & Billy between the sheets would lighten things up a bit in Genoa City & for Young & the Restless fans.
