Y&R fans blast the South of France storyline’s logic failures, from Cane’s fake maze to fresh food mysteriously arriving while guests remain trapped. Is this plot ruining the show?

Young & the Restless fans across social media have had it with the South of France & most have not even been there. It’s enough with the fake maze, Cane’s imaginary Chateau, & the train without a track. Phone signal is coming soon in the South of France. Does this mean there is an end in sight?
Fresh Food & Fashion Flow into Nice, Signal Does Not
HOW?!? How does Aristotle Dumas, now revealed to be one of the Young & the Restless characters whom fans in large part never wanted back, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), get the freshest of the most high-end cuisine into the maze for his guests, yet no one can leave or have contact with the outside world?
Also, how does each one of Cane Ashby’s guests have something new & beautiful to wear every damn day? None of Cane Ashby’s guests planned for this adventure to last as long as it’s been going on in the South of France. How on Earth would they have packed enough clothing for this trip, except for maybe Michael Baldwin & Lauren Fenmore (Christian LeBlanc & Tracey Bregman) & Jack Abbott & Diane Jenkins (Peter Bergman & Susan Walters), who attempted to make this silly Dumas trip part of a larger trip in Europe for some one-on-one time.
If food & fashion are coming into Cane’s maze & train cars, how is no one leaving Cane’s maze & train cars? Cane’s guests aren’t stupid. Why haven’t they been asking more questions?
Speaking of Food, Not Enough for Adam Newman
So, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) made it up & down the mountain without getting hurt & without nourishment, & this is all supposed to be believable to Young & the Restless fans? Yes, Adam Newman gets brownie points & more for making the trip up & down Cane Ashby’s mountain to deliver news about Cane’s real estate dealings happening in Genoa City & that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) is still alive. Whoa!… Except for Cole Howard is no longer alive. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) are left almost alone in Genoa City to mourn Cole’s death.
If Adam Newman can do it, so can another Newman, & even an Abbott. These people getting back to Genoa City is past due, & when they return, nothing will be the same.
Did the reboot of Cane Ashby portrayed as Billy Flynn just ruin Young & the Restless for good? No one will be able to ask Chance Chancellor, as he’s about to be killed on Cane’s watch.
