Phyllis Summers Takes Cane Ashby To Her Hotel Suite
Let’s start with the MAIN EVENT: Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby have dinner at the Athletic Club, and it ends with them making out in her hotel suite! Here’s how this seduction unfolds:
Cane and Phyllis are having drinks in the dining room, and Phyllis immediately calls him out—the only reason he asked her to dinner is because something HAPPENED. She wants to know what it is! Why are they really there?
Cane claims he’s attracted to her, but Phyllis knows there’s more to it. What or who is in his rearview mirror? Cane admits he’s made a lot of mistakes and has had to retrace his steps, and Phyllis IMMEDIATELY knows it’s all about Lily Winters!
She gives him this whole analysis about how he probably created his Aristotle Dumas persona as a shield to build his empire, but when his fortune skyrocketed, the line between Dumas and Cane blurred, and now he doesn’t know who he is anymore. She’s not WRONG!
Cane opens up about how his father told him to reveal the truth about Dumas to Lily and the kids, but he wasn’t ready—maybe he was afraid of their reactions, or maybe he wanted to amass more wealth first. He admits he was selfish and arrogant, and if he’d just listened to his dad and been honest, things would be different!
But here’s where Phyllis shows her TRUE colors: she tells Cane she LIKES what he created with Dumas because she’s the same type of person! Cane says he has every intention of burying Dumas forever, but Phyllis doesn’t want that! She tells him Dumas isn’t evil—he created a BILLION-DOLLAR empire in six years and shouldn’t let that go!
Cane says he wanted to create a legacy for his family, but all they see are his lies. The only thing he succeeded at is losing them! But Phyllis tells him to STOP with the pity party. She never wants him to change—don’t kill Dumas, just EMBRACE him and let the world be damned!
Phyllis is basically telling Cane to lean into being ruthless, and honestly? She’s corrupting him and we’re HERE for it!

Phyllis Convinces Cane To Keep His Ruthless Side
Phyllis continues her manipulation masterclass, telling Cane he can have the BEST of both worlds! He’s fighting for his kids, his empire, and his family—Dumas understands that, but Cane needs to fight too! It might not be easy, but he HAS to fight! She’s sure he’s too smart not to have a backup plan if Arabesque was attacked, and admits that SHE has a plan too!
Then Cane makes his move: he asks Phyllis to invite him up to her room for a nightcap, where she can tell him all about her plan. Phyllis gives him this LOOK, and they head upstairs!
Up in Phyllis’s suite, she asks if Cane would like to invest in her new company. But Cane immediately gets suspicious—is she talking about Arabesque? It would be “poetic” if Phyllis stole his AI software, used it to devastate his company, and then scooped it up for pennies on the dollar!
Phyllis accuses him of killing the mood, but Cane says HE thinks Phyllis is the one looking for a shortcut. He refills his drink and says he’s looking for answers! Phyllis insists she didn’t steal his program—why would she want Arabesque? Her new company has nothing to do with him!
Cane points out she won’t even tell him the name of her company, and Phyllis grins saying she’s “mysterious!” Then Cane lays it on thick: she’s brilliant, wickedly smart, and amazing at the art of deception. He’s interested and she has his attention!
They kiss PASSIONATELY, and Phyllis Summers has officially seduced Cane Ashby! Girl is playing the LONG game here, and we’re not sure if she genuinely likes him or if she’s working some kind of angle. Either way, this is getting SPICY!
Lily Winters Defends Cane (Then Leaves Him An Emotional Voicemail)
Meanwhile at Society restaurant, Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson are talking when Lily Winters walks in and overhears them discussing Cane. Adam is gleeful that Arabesque is imploding, saying Cane deserves everything that happens to him! But Lily immediately jumps to Cane’s defense, saying he certainly didn’t deserve what Adam’s family has done to him!
Adam fires back that people DIED because of Cane, and he planned to take over all the legacy companies in Genoa City! But Lily insists Cane changed his mind and was going to destroy the software before it was stolen. She KNOWS Victor must have stolen it and is using it against Cane now!
Chelsea asks why Lily is defending Cane—what’s changed? Lily says she’s not defending him exactly, but she thinks he deserves a chance to prove himself. Adam shrugs saying Cane has had plenty of time to prove himself, but now “karma is kicking his ass!”
Chelsea thinks this feels PERSONAL and asks if Lily is getting closer to Cane lately. Lily admits she’s “softened” to Cane, but they’re not any closer. His regret is real and he’s trying to fix things with his kids, but he can’t heal while he’s under attack!
Lily actually BEGS Adam to ask Victor to back off with the AI software and the media attacks! She wants a ceasefire because of her kids—Cane is just trying to get back in their good graces! But Chelsea and Adam don’t buy it, insisting Cane isn’t serious about redeeming himself.
After Lily walks away, Adam and Chelsea speculate about whether Lily is giving Cane another chance. Adam isn’t optimistic—there’s more Dumas than Cane in the person Lily is defending!
Later, Lily sits at the bar sipping wine and flashing back to her conversations with Cane. She picks up her phone and calls him, leaving an EMOTIONAL voicemail! She apologizes for how she left things between them. She wants to believe him and finds herself defending him, but she needs TIME. Maybe he has the patience for it, or maybe he doesn’t!
LILY! Girl, if you could see what Cane is doing right now with Phyllis in her hotel suite, you would NOT be leaving him sweet voicemails! This is about to get SO messy when Lily finds out!
Claire Newman DESTROYS Audra Charles At Crimson Lights
Over at Crimson Lights, Claire Newman and Holden Novak run into each other and have an awkward conversation about what happened between them in LA. Claire says she had a good time and felt safe with him, and she doesn’t regret what happened on Halloween night. But she’s not ready to get into another relationship right now, and she’s not sure they’ll end up in bed again anytime soon!
Holden is disappointed but respects her choice. He feels like she’s pulling back from their friendship because of what he told her about his past with Audra Charles. Claire asks if he’d tell her if there was something MORE to the story, and Holden says of course he would!
Then Audra Charles walks in and asks if they’re an item now—Kyle must have lost the girl of his dreams to a “stone-cold player!” And Claire SNAPS!
Claire brings up meeting people at The Shadow Room in LA and asks if Victor Newman is looking to get his money back because Audra couldn’t seduce Kyle Abbott! Audra fires back that Kyle is “obsessed” with her, and Claire delivers the LINE OF THE CENTURY:
“What’s it called when someone takes money to perform sexual acts?”
CLAIRE NEWMAN JUST CALLED AUDRA CHARLES A PROSTITUTE! Holden tries to calm things down, but the ladies IGNORE him! Audra tells Claire it wasn’t like that and warns her to tread carefully—she’ll do whatever it takes to get Claire to shut up!
But Claire is NOT backing down! She tells Audra she’s PATHETIC with no job and no family! Audra actually FLICKS Claire on the chin (the audacity!), and Claire pushes her away demanding she answer the question!
Audra looks confused asking “what question?” and Claire says she’ll find out soon enough—EVERYONE will! She storms out with Holden, leaving Audra standing there fuming!
Claire Newman just declared WAR on Audra Charles, and we are LIVING for this feud! What question is Claire talking about? What does she know about Audra and Holden’s past? This is about to get UGLY!
This episode sets up SO much drama! Phyllis is seducing Cane while Lily defends him, and Claire just started a full-blown war with Audra! USA fans, you’re in for a WILD ride tomorrow!
