Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby’s alliance takes an interesting turn on Monday, and by “interesting” we mean these two are about to cross every professional boundary known to mankind! Phyllis has a PhD in mixing business with inappropriate romance, and Cane’s track record isn’t exactly stellar either. What could possibly go wrong when two people with terrible judgment decide to take their “alliance” in a new direction? Spoiler alert: EVERYTHING!
Claire Grace and Holden Novak clear the air, which is code for “these two finally have an honest conversation after weeks of nonsense.” What air needs clearing, you ask? Probably the fact that Claire’s been ping-ponging between Kyle and Holden like an emotional tennis ball while everyone pretends this is normal behavior!

Nikki Newman gives Claire a history lesson on Wednesday, and somebody PLEASE give this girl a crash course in Newman family chaos! Nikki’s probably telling Claire cautionary tales like “Here’s what happens when you make terrible romantic decisions” and “Let me tell you about all the times this family imploded because someone couldn’t keep it in their pants!” Claire needs all the warnings she can get considering her recent track record!
Audra Charles plots her next move, because apparently Audra wakes up every morning asking herself “What chaos can I cause today?” This woman is ALWAYS scheming! Does she ever just relax? Have a coffee? Watch Netflix? No! She’s too busy plotting and manipulating! Exhausting!

Noah Newman and Sienna Bacall fall into a trap, and HOW does Noah keep ending up in life-threatening situations?! This man survived a coma, a mysterious accident, and now he’s walking straight into a trap like he learned nothing! Who set the trap? Matt Clark? Someone connected to the Shadow Room? Either way, Noah and Sienna need to develop some survival instincts ASAP!

Danny and Cricket are actually getting married without drama, schemes, or someone objecting at the altar! These two deserve happiness after all the nonsense they’ve been through! At least somebody in this town is making good life choices instead of cranking up the heat with questionable business partners or falling into literal traps!
Can we appreciate that while everyone else is making terrible decisions, Danny and Cricket are over here being functional adults who communicate and actually love each other? Revolutionary concept in Genoa City!

Phyllis and Cane Need to STOP
Let’s address the elephant in the room: Phyllis Summers and Cane Ashby going from “alliance” to “cranking up the heat” in approximately 24 hours is the most Phyllis thing ever! This woman cannot keep a professional relationship professional to save her life! And Cane? Sir, you’ve been trying to rebuild your reputation, and you think hooking up with Phyllis Summers is the move? REALLY?
These two are headed for disaster, and Lily catching them in a compromising position on Friday is going to be EXPLOSIVE! Lily’s already put Adam and Chelsea on blast earlier in the week, so imagine how unhinged she’s going to be when she walks in on Phyllis and Cane! This is going to be beautiful chaos!
Matt Clark Made A HUGE Mistake
Matt Clark thought he could mess with the Newman family and get away with it, and that’s honestly adorable! Messing with one Newman is bad enough, but messing with the entire family while Victor Newman is still alive and vindictive? That’s a death wish! Victor helping Nick retaliate means Matt’s about to experience the full force of Newman revenge, and it’s not going to be pretty!
Matt’s been playing games, manipulating situations, and terrorizing Sharon like he forgot who these people are! The Newmans don’t forgive, they don’t forget, and they DEFINITELY don’t let people get away with hurting their family! Matt’s fake identity isn’t going to protect him from Victor’s wrath!
Noah Needs to Develop Self-Preservation Skills
Noah Newman falling into a trap is honestly par for the course at this point! This man has survived a mysterious car accident that left him in a coma, woke up to discover his girlfriend Sienna is married to a psychopath, and now he’s walking into traps! NOAH! SWEETHEART! DEVELOP SOME SURVIVAL INSTINCTS!
Who set the trap for Noah and Sienna? Probably Matt Clark, who clearly has it out for the Newman family! Whatever this trap is, it’s not going to end well for Noah and Sienna. These two need to stop wandering into dangerous situations and maybe invest in some personal security!
At Least Danny and Cricket Are Being Normal
In a week full of “alliances” turning romantic, people falling into traps, and revenge plots, Danny Romalotti and Cricket Blair are the ONLY normal people getting married without maximum drama! These two are retying the knot like functional adults who actually love each other and communicate! Revolutionary!
Can every other couple in Genoa City take notes? This is how you do relationships! You talk to each other, you commit to each other, and you DON’T crank up the heat with inappropriate business partners or fall into literal traps!
