We’re talking about Victor Newman himself, the legendary Eric Braeden, rolling into the posh gated community of Fairmont Crest alongside Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Devon Winters (Bryton James), and Abby Newman Winters (Melissa Ordway).

Victor Newman and Vernon Dupree go way back. We’re talking years of backroom deals, political maneuvering, and the kind of loyalty that only exists between men who know where the bodies are buried. Over the years, Victor has bankrolled Vernon’s political campaigns while Vernon has pushed through legislation that benefits Newman Enterprises. It’s an alliance built on power, influence, and mutual gain — the kind of friendship that makes enemies very, very nervous.

Now Vernon has called in a favor. His grandson Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) is hosting a high-profile political fundraiser, and he wants Victor Newman to deliver the keynote speech. When the most powerful man in Genoa City agrees to stand at your podium, you know the stakes are sky-high.

But wait — there’s more.

Kyle’s Got Connections Too

Turns out Martin and Kyle have history. The two men first bonded in New York City after college, and Martin has invited his old friend to attend the fundraiser. Kyle arrives with his parents, Jack and Diane, in tow. Because nothing says “elegant evening” like the Abbotts walking into a room full of Newmans and pretending they’re not at each other’s throats half the time.

Meanwhile, Devon and Abby land on the VIP guest list for reasons that have nothing to do with family drama and everything to do with business. Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) apparently has an unexpected opportunity to pitch Devon — and knowing Anita, “unexpected” probably means “calculated down to the last decimal point.”

CBS is keeping the details under wraps, but here’s what we know: as the evening unfolds, a shocking event occurs that abruptly derails the fundraiser and triggers dramatic consequences for every single guest in attendance.

This marks the third crossover between Beyond the Gates and its CBS sister soaps. Devon’s portrayer Bryton James was the first to make the trip back in August 2025, sharing scenes with Clifton Davis, Tamara Tunie, and Karla Mosley. The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Thorsten Kaye followed shortly after, bringing Ridge Forrester to Fairmont Estates.
