And honestly? At this point, it’s getting really hard to feel sorry for the guy.

Here’s where things stand. Harrison Chase has been suspended from the PCPD by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) after compromising the investigation into Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. Why? Because he couldn’t stop himself from publicly defending Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) — his ex-wife, the woman he still clearly hasn’t gotten over — during her trial. Internal affairs is breathing down his neck now, and instead of laying low to salvage what’s left of his career, Chase is doubling down harder than ever.

He’s convinced Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is the one who shot Drew. He’s picking fights, running his mouth, and acting like a man on a mission from a very misguided god. The problem? He’s dead wrong. We KNOW Willow pulled that trigger. We KNOW she injected Drew with a syringe that caused a massive stroke. Chase doesn’t know any of that yet — and his refusal to even consider the possibility that his precious Willow might not be the innocent angel he thinks she is? Brook Lynn Has Officially Had Enough

And then there’s Brook Lynn. Poor, patient, absolutely fed-up Brook Lynn.

This woman has stood by Harrison Chase through the suspension, through the public embarrassment, through every whispered conversation in Port Charles. But his obsession with Willow — let’s call it what it is — has finally pushed her into a corner. Spoilers confirm that Brook Lynn delivers an ultimatum this week: drop the Willow crusade, or their marriage is done.

Can you blame her? She’s watching her husband throw away his entire life to protect a woman who literally left him for another man. The same woman who cheated on Chase with Michael while he was supposedly dying in a hospital bed! And NOW he wants to be her champion?

The irony is so thick you could choke on it.

But here’s the layer that makes this situation even messier. Brook Lynn’s biological son, Gio (Giovanni Mazza), was revealed last year to be the child of Brook Lynn and Dante — yes, the SAME Dante who just suspended Chase. So every time Chase spirals further into this Willow obsession, he’s not just risking his marriage. He’s creating an impossible dynamic with the man who is both his superior officer AND the biological father of his wife’s son.

That’s not just awkward. That’s a ticking time bomb with a very short fuse.

The Truth Is Going to Absolutely Wreck Him

Here’s what keeps me up at night about this storyline. Harrison Chase is going to find out the truth about Willow eventually. He HAS to. And when that moment comes — when he realizes she shot Drew, attacked him with a syringe, framed Michael, and played everyone around her like a masterful con artist — this man is going to shatter.

He threw away his detective shield for her. He’s about to throw away his marriage. He accused Michael, fought with his colleagues, and alienated every single person who actually cares about him. All for a woman who is guilty of everything he refused to believe she was capable of.

Multiple spoiler sources frame this as a “breaking point” for Harrison Chase — and not just the marriage. His entire identity is built around being the good guy, the hero cop, the protector. So what happens when the hero realizes he’s been protecting the villain this whole time?

Something tells me we’re watching the beginning of a fall that’s going to take a very long time to recover from. If he recovers at all.
