MALCOLM WINTERS COMES HOME, VICTOR USES MATT, AND RIVALRIES HEAT UP!

TL;DR: The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of June 8 heat up the drama in ways no one expects. Malcolm Winters’ return has everyone smiling…until they aren’t. Matt Clark cements in place in Victor’s world…for now. And, rivalries go off the rails!

This Week in Genoa City

The drama with Matt Clark has everyone on edge already, and Victor Newman is about to make it much, much worse. They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and that’s exactly what the Mustache does!

In the meantime, Lily Winters gets a surprise when her father shows up in Genao City again. But, he’s not just there to see her and celebrate. He has unfinished business with an ex. Will Stephanie and Malcolm finally lay their past to rest?

In other stories, expect to see Sienna Bacall stand her ground with Audra Charles, Phyllis Summers reach out to her daughter, and Noah Newman host a grand opening for his new club. What could possibly go wrong?

Monday, June 8

Matt Clark claims to be sorry for all the evil deeds of his past, but does he mean it? This week, Victor Newman tests that theory but offering up an alliance of sorts. And, when we say “alliance” we really mean The Mustache sending out his messy new buddy to do his bidding. Will Matt take the bait?

The week also kicks off with Lily Winters making Cane Ashby an offer he can’t refuse. Is this about business? Pleasure? Both? Either way, we’re just happy to see soulmates getting closer together.

Adding to Lily’s joy will be the return of her father. Malcolm Winters surprises everyone by making another visit to Genoa City. He has some unfinished business and dives head first into the drama.

Tuesday, June 9

As for that unfinished business, a sitdown between Malcolm and Stephanie Simmons is in order. The pair grab a couple chairs, some coffee, and try to make peace with their past. Will Malcolm offer up forgiveness for the decades of lies and secrets?

It’s ribbon-cutting time for Noah Newman! The Shade Room is ready for guests, and he’s ready to rock out this new chapter of his life. What a thrill it is to see his secret project unfold! We have to hand it to him; he really did make it look exactly like the L.A. venue. (We love when shows recycle sets!)

While everyone mixes and mingles, Sharon Newman goes the distance to keep herself away from Matt. Who can blame her? After what that man did to her all those years ago, we wouldn’t want to be around him either.

Wednesday, June 10

Speaking of players who like to rock it out, Christine Blair sees her husband in a new light. What is it that Danny Romalotti does that has Christine on edge? And could this destroy their love story?

Meanwhile, get ready for some diva drama when Sienna and Audra go head to head. The two face off and these are scenes you won’t want to miss! Not only will they drag each other through the mud, but they may kick up some long-buried secrets.

At the same time, Victoria Newman and Kyle Abbott make peace. Their long-feuding families are still going at it, but that doesn’t mean these two can’t be friends, right? Sure. Why not.

Thursday, June 11

Noah may be pouring the drinks and partying hard at his new bar, but his father is not. Nick Newman turns to his mother for help staying sober and keeping those pills out of his pocket (and his mouth). Nikki Newman knows what it’s like, and she’s there to support her son as best she possibly can. But is it enough?

And where’s Victor while his son is on this downward spiral? At the office getting work done, of course! He makes a SHOCKING business decision that will have jaws on the floor.

When it comes to shaking things up, no one will do it better than Stephanie. She shares a deep secret with Nate Hastings that will leave him breathless. How many more skeletons does this woman have in her closet?

Friday, June 12

Finally taking his eyes of NE and putting them back on his loved ones, Victor finally questions Nikki about her health. Those headaches aren’t something to ignore, and it’s time she gets herself checked out. Their marriage may be on shaky grounds, but Victor’s not turning a blind eye to his baby’s suffering.

Matt and Victor have an agreement but that doesn’t mean the Newmans trust the baddie. Adam Newman takes it upon himself to keep an eye on the monster. Will he catch Matt doing something he shouldn’t be?

The end of the week brings up more mentions of Summer! This time, Phyllis Summers picks up her phone once again to reach out to her daughter? Will this finally be the SOS call that brings Summer Newman home?

Victor Newman just walked into Fairmont Crest, a tornado just leveled the country club, and The Impaler finally has a face. Which storyline has you the most shaken heading into this week? Sound off below!

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if Victor gets back to Newman and finds out that Phyllis actually was running his company with Lauren and that she did a fabulous job that surprises him so much he never expected it. He thought he would walk into a mess, and instead he walked into a well-oiled machine that got along just fine without him. Suppose he decides to bring on Phyllis as his CO-CEO. That would be the surprise that would leave everyone stunned. I think Victor is extremely impressed with Phyllis and how she ran his company,
but also how she saved his son’s life, and that moment between them when she told him how much she loved Nick and he was the father of her daughter. Victor has always been a little afraid of Phyllis because she is smart and not afraid to take chances, and he knew she was capable of besting him. This would drive Victoria, Adam, and Nick crazy, but Victor would know what he is doing.

This would surprise everyone to see Victor express so much confidence in Phyllis and her expert mind. Better she work with him, and he is able to protect his company, than the fact that Phyllis could easily take that company from him and probably run it better than him.
