ANNA DEVANE’S CONFESSION IN THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP REVEALS SHE PLOTTED TO KILL FAISON’S OWN CHILDREN
In today’s General Hospital Recap, Anna Devane begins therapy and confesses she plotted to kill Faison’s own children, Brook Lynn Quartermaine learns her legal exposure is lighter than her guilt, Josslyn Jacks admits she lied to protect the WSB’s cover story, and Brook Lynn ends up crying on Trina’s doorstep.
Anna Devane Faces the Fallout From Her Breakdown
This General Hospital Recap opens the morning after Anna Devane‘s Mount Emerson meltdown, and she’s already trying to clean up the wreckage. She calls Dante Falconeri back to the PCPD and tells him she needs him to resume acting police commissioner duties because of “an incident” the night before. She confides that she’s been hiding how badly she’s been struggling since her breakdown and is entering voluntary therapy.
Dante, who remembers how his own WSB stint nearly broke him, reminds Anna that she once told him he’d recover if he put in the work, and Anna resolves to follow her own advice. As he heads out, Anna asks him for one favor: if Britt comes to him about what happened, he needs to do his job.
At General Hospital, Felicia Scorpio assures a worried Emma that Anna is in good hands with her new therapist, while down the hall Britt Westbourne tells a disbelieving Lucas Jones that Anna nearly killed her. When Emma tries to ask Britt for some compassion, Britt snaps that Anna Devane needs to be locked up, and Felicia has to step between them before the argument boils over.
Anna arrives for her first session and promises Emma she’ll do the work to get better. Once alone with Felicia, she admits she lied about her visions of Peter August and had been plotting to kill Faison’s own children, and Felicia is certain the torment of the last few months is to blame. Down the hall, a still-furious Britt tenses at the sight of Anna heading to her session, and when Lucas urges her to let it go, she promises she won’t go near Anna. She will pay for what she’s done, Britt vows instead.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s Legal Reckoning
Tracy Quartermaine and Ned Quartermaine hire Diane Miller to represent Brook Lynn Quartermaine over the accident, but Alexis Davis takes the meeting when her partner can’t make it. Brook Lynn is stunned to see Alexis walk in, since she’d assumed she was only looking at points on her license.
Alexis explains that failing to report the near-miss with the Ashfords isn’t a crime, but hitting the guardrail and not reporting the damage could have meant real jail time. Justine Turner arrives and agrees the guardrail hit is the only actual charge, worth nothing more than a fine, but she reminds Brook Lynn as Jordan’s friend that she’ll have to live with what her silence cost, from Curtis Ashford punching Isaiah Gannon on down.
Once Justine leaves, Brook Lynn decides she needs to apologize to everyone she’s hurt, done staying quiet on Tracy’s advice. Tracy begs her not to make things worse, but Ned backs his daughter’s decision. Alone with Alexis, Tracy switches gears entirely and asks her to have Miller & Davis handle Brook Lynn’s divorce instead.
At the PCPD, Chase stuns Joe Fitzpatrick by ordering the Ashford case closed now that Brook Lynn’s confession is on record. Dante steps in to announce that Commissioner Devane is taking a leave of absence and he’s back in charge, then asks how Chase is holding up. Chase admits he missed Phoebe during his night at the Metro Court and has no idea how he’s supposed to face his wife, and Ned arrives moments later to insist Chase come with him to save his marriage.
Josslyn’s Guilt and a Doorstep Surprise
Jason Morgan meets Josslyn Jacks at the boathouse and confirms that Britt’s account of Anna’s breakdown is true. As they talk it through, Josslyn puts together that Ross Cullum and Jenz Sidwell worked together to discredit Anna so she wouldn’t threaten their project.
Josslyn admits she lied about what really happened on Spoon Island and confesses she still feels sick about tearing down Cassius Faison‘s memory after he saved her life. Jason realizes she only went along with the WSB’s version of events to get him released from Jakarta, and he warns her to watch her back with the bureau going forward.
Torn over whether protocol requires her to report Anna, Josslyn asks Jason what he thinks she should do. He tells her that reporting Anna won’t actually help her, and that Anna will understand whatever Josslyn ultimately decides.
Across town, Gio Palmieri checks on Trina Robinson, who isn’t sure how she moves past the fact that Brook Lynn’s silence tore her own family apart, and Gio worries she’ll end up holding it against him too. He heads to Emma’s next and admits that he and Trina aren’t sure they even want to pursue their music careers anymore. Emma fills him in that Anna nearly killed Britt the night before and worries that arguing with Britt at the hospital only made things worse, and Gio praises her for standing up for her grandmother, wondering aloud if Britt might still surprise them. Back at Trina’s apartment, a distraught Brook Lynn knocks on the door.
Sound off in the comments below. Should Josslyn report Anna to the WSB, or does Anna deserve to handle this her own way?
The Real Reckoning Hasn’t Started Yet
Anna Devane finally telling the truth doesn’t undo what she almost did to Britt, and Britt’s vow to make her pay means this is nowhere near over. Brook Lynn Quartermaine may have dodged jail, but Justine’s warning lands harder than any charge could, and a marriage, a friendship, and a family are all still hanging in the balance. Josslyn Jacks now knows exactly how deep the WSB’s lies go, and she’s the one who has to decide what happens next.
