JASON MORGAN REFUSES TO BACK BRITT AGAINST ANNA IN MONDAY’S GENERAL HOSPITAL SPOILERS

TL;DR: In General Hospital spoilers for Monday, September 14, Jason Morgan refuses to be Britt Westbourne’s witness against Anna Devane and loses faith in her. Baines grills Nina about Brennan, and Scout sneaks a visit with Alexis and Molly.

Jason Morgan Draws a Hard Line With Britt

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, September 14, 2026, deliver the moment Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) never planned for. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is scheduled to refuse to serve as her witness against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and he won’t budge no matter how hard she pushes. Britt is left angry and devastated. She wanted him in her corner and gets a closed door instead.

Friday set up the collision. In ABC’s own preview for Friday’s showdown, Britt tells Jason flatly, “You’re a witness, you have to help me stop her.” Monday is his answer, and the answer is no.

Jason’s reasoning is brutal. Anna’s mental anguish traces straight back to her captivity, and he believes Britt had a hand in that pain. That is what finally makes him blow up at the woman he loves.

Here is the wound. At Mount Emerson on Tuesday, September 8, Anna accused Britt of knowing she was being held captive and doing nothing. Britt’s defense was that she only found out after Ross Cullum arrived in Port Charles. Jason heard every word. Learning the truth late is one thing, but keeping quiet once she knew is the part he can’t forgive.

Is Jason right to shield Anna, or does Britt deserve a witness after staring down Anna’s gun? Write to our editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and make your case.

General Hospital Spoilers Put Britt’s Promises on Trial

Britt will try to spin it. She may once again swear there are no more secrets left. The trouble is that Jason has just caught her in another one, and a man fresh home from a WSB black site doesn’t hand out second chances easily.

Here is a wrinkle. Cullum faked Britt’s Huntington’s test results and swapped her treatments for saline. Co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten have warned that the choices Britt made to stay alive under Cullum’s thumb “may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.” My gut tells me Britt argues her silence was survival, and Jason hears it as one more lie.

Britt has already vowed that Anna will pay, and she worries Anna will go off the rails again. Without Jason, her case gets a lot thinner. He is the only witness to what happened on that mountain.

Do Jason and Britt Break Up on General Hospital?

Not officially yet, but Monday takes them to the brink. Jason is scheduled to lose faith in Britt, and that kind of damage rarely heals in Port Charles. Their summer reunion came with a buried landmine, and the September 8 reveal set it off. If I know these writers, a formal split is closer than Britt thinks.

What gets missed is that Jason’s choice and Josslyn Jacks‘s choice are really the same one. On Monday, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) visits Anna after hearing Britt’s account and pushes her to tell her own side. Jason already told Josslyn on Thursday that reporting Anna to the WSB won’t help her. Anna has since started voluntary therapy and taken leave from the PCPD, putting Dante Falconeri back in charge, which gives Jason’s argument real weight. If Josslyn lands where Jason did, Britt loses her witness and her WSB route in the same breath.

Monday’s General Hospital Spoilers Put Nina Reeves in the Hot Seat

Meanwhile, William Baines (Alimi Ballard) sits down with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to ask about the nature of her relationship with Jack Brennan. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) put Nina on his radar by telling Baines she saw Nina threaten Brennan at the Metro Court Gardens. Nina gets nervous, with good reason. Drew Cain planted Brennan’s wallet in her car, and Brennan’s body is buried on the Quartermaine nature preserve where Drew and Ava Jerome left it.

A quick correction. Some spoiler chatter is calling Baines the acting chief, but on screen he is the WSB agent sent to oversee Brennan’s disappearance. Carly also approaches Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) about reaching an agreement, and odds are Josslyn ends up as the bargaining chip again.

General Hospital Spoilers Leave Drew Cain in the Dark

Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) secretly meets her grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and her aunt, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), at the Metro Court Gardens. Alexis is fed up with Drew keeping Scout away from the Davis side of her family. Her advice is blunt: the less Scout tells her father, the better.

The irony is delicious. Drew is sitting on one of the darkest secrets in town, and now his own daughter is keeping one from him. Could this be the crack that brings his whole house of cards down?

Jason Morgan Chose Anna Over Britt, and He Got It Right

Britt has a real grievance. Anna held a gun on her, and nobody should shrug that off. But Jason sees the whole picture, and the whole picture includes Britt’s silence about what was done to Anna. Protecting Anna’s recovery is the loyal call, and it was never going to be the easy one.

Team Britt says she deserves justice. Team Jason says she forfeited his trust the moment she chose silence. Pick your side and tell us on our Facebook page.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is William Baines on General Hospital?

William Baines is a WSB agent played by Alimi Ballard, who first appeared on September 3, 2026. He came to Port Charles to oversee the investigation into Jack Brennan’s disappearance, and a tip from Carly Spencer has now put Nina Reeves at the center of his questions.

Why won’t Jason Morgan help Britt Westbourne against Anna Devane?

Jason believes Anna’s breakdown traces back to her captivity, and he blames Britt for staying quiet once she learned Anna had been held. Anna has since started voluntary therapy and stepped away from the PCPD, so Jason sees reporting her as punishment rather than protection.

Is Scout Cain seeing Alexis Davis behind Drew’s back?

Yes. Spoilers for Monday, September 14 have Scout secretly meeting her grandmother Alexis and her aunt Molly at the Metro Court Gardens. Alexis is tired of Drew keeping Scout from the Davis family and tells Scout the less she shares with her father, the better.
