Right alongside her, Finn does something telling: he turns to Taylor Hayes for support instead of handling it solo. When a man starts calling his mother-in-law for backup, that’s usually a pretty reliable sign something in the marriage has already cracked more than anyone’s said out loud.

Meanwhile, Belle Black hands Marlena Evans a piece of the puzzle that’s been missing, and Chad DiMera finally confronts Cat Greene with something he’s clearly been sitting on far too long. And just when Salem thinks it’s caught its breath, Sydney DiMera walks right back into town — a return that’s guaranteed not to stay quiet for long.

Young and the Restless Spoilers

For once, Genoa City gets a little softness. Chelsea Lawson shows up for Sally Spectra during a genuinely hard moment, no ulterior motive attached, just one friend showing up for another when it actually counts.

That same spirit carries over elsewhere: Cane Ashby extends an olive branch to Devon Winters after what’s clearly been a long stretch of tension between them, while Phyllis Summers throws her full support behind Daniel Romalotti‘s newest endeavor. It won’t last — this is still Genoa City — but Friday’s willing to let everyone catch their breath for a minute.
